In western culture it is very rude for people to interrupt another person while they are talking. In the Indian culture people interrupt others constantly and when they do this in the west it offends the westerners.

I started watching Dr Nene's videos just to understand why film superstar madhuri married a non-filmi and simple person. I had seen you attending movie award ceremonies with madhuri..but you were always silent n smiling while she was taking all the limelight. But now after listening to you Dr Nene, I feel Madhuri is very lucky to marry you. You are such a successful heart surgeon, very intelligent, soft spoken, caring, humble and good looking too! It's so wonderful how supportive and understanding you both are. I also know we all face ups and downs. I am going though some hardships myself for the last 2 years and I haven't had much joy in the form of support. It is so frustrating. I am not the type of person to complain about what I feel or go through so what was discussed about only going to the doctor if it only feels serious really resonates with me. However, I have tried to speak and explain to my GP about my issues but I feel ignored and it causes me much anxiety. God bless you both and thank you

Thank you for giving everyone an insight into a life of a surgeon and the family man.🙏 When we go to a specialist doctor/surgeon, we only see 1 facet of his/her life and sometimes forgets they have a life as well. Always, this is an eye opener to every new student, who wants to study medicine or go into the medical field. From what I see it's hard work, but very rewarding professionally and personally.

This is a heartening, relevant topic for me. My spouse and I own and operate our own law firm, and there is inevitably an ever-present duty toward our clients. Managing the everyday business of running the practice, combined with parenting our small kids and making time for each other, is definitely a tough challenge. Being conscious of maintaining a work-life balance is so important in a spousal relationship! Thanks for this video! 👍🏼

It must have been such a hard time for Madhuri being newly married and discovering the husband working so hard and gone for extend periods of time, only to come back and crash. You made some really good points about the future of the healthcare industry. It's scary to think about if changes aren't made. I went into the ER last spring with what turned out to be pericarditis and the hospital had a hard time getting me a bed that wasn't in the ER; when they did, it was in the cardiac post-surgery area. And it wasn't because of covid, my nurse said there just aren't enough beds and docs to deal with the aging population. I also really enjoyed the personal anecdotes and the way you two interviewed each other. It's always fun to see what you come up with content-wise.

Dr Nene, what resonated with me is you said that Health is important from crib to end of life . health is extremely important and I am happy that you’re stressing. That continuity is imperative. As I sit here with my physician, father, who just had a stroke, I certainly wish he was healthier with a diet so he could live a better life as well.

Of course he is very well educated. Madhuri is not as near well articulated as Dr Nene. Which is understandable he is brought up and educated in America. A person educated in India can not be as well articulated as people educated in Uk, US or English speaking countries.

Your discussion on healthcare challenges drew my attention to what made me want to work for that industry. I am not a science student however i agree that there should be other option for many resources to get trained and be a part of this industry. It's lovely hearing from you. particularly the way you elucidate everything from soup to nuts even the minutia. the way you talk it really hits the noodle. if you could also do a video on people like me who are inflexible congenitally followed by poor coordination between the upper and lower extremities it would be a relief because at age 24 I have only just started on my flexibility and coordination journey but my frame feels petrified I am so limited in my mobility I can barely just walk. if you could help I would be forever grateful

She’s right I’m not Indian, but I live in India that priority is different. They love to go see a movie and talk about movie star and they make their hero. Not like your husband or you sacrificed their life for humanity went through so much hard education, but their priority in India is different. Nobody appreciate it doctor or scientist, but they make a big deal out of a somebody doesn’t have any education, but they are movie star and they act like a God and they are for them very important. That’s in India probably some other part of the Middle East is misunderstood. Thank you for your great video. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I live in Canada and the pressures COVID has put on the healthcare system has resulted in the shortage of physicians and other healthcare workers in the country. This has finally made them look at the Public healthcare system with a new perspective. The fact that the country is at least considering to offer opportunity after adequate examination of credentials and experience to medically qualified immigrants will have a positive effect on the socio-economic status overall, especially the immigrant populace.
