Mom is the STAR of this video. Talkative, Well spoken and Smart lady. Middle class Maharashtrian in those days wouldn’t take chances. Very few could do it and did better. Risk taking attitude is Gujrati community, then Marwari, Punjabi, Bengalis..

I am indian origin American, just coming to listen to your parents. As a mother, it gave me meaningful insights on how to raise my daughter in America. Thank you so much for putting your parents' journey in front of us. When my daughter will be teenager i am going to make my daughter listen to this interview to understand marathi values. Please allow your parents to talk in marathi, its more fun to listen to them in marathi.

U didn’t lose 20 yrs of life. Being a doctor thru perseverance and hard work and then serving people and saving lives daily is nothing compared to any startup you are saying. To help people thru ur job is a blessing in disguise, we as doctors feel that, that’s why we chose this profession. Of course in midlife u can incorporate ur knowledge with and improvise it to different fields, that’s what u r doing now.

DrNene , I really enjoyed the interview . I too being a senior, understand that as parents we want the best for our kids . But the one thing I remember is my mum telling me way back in the 70ties . Make sure your career path is one that can help your grow , and get the meals on your table . Do what you have to do with a passion and drive that can sustain you. And that’s what I have said to my daughter. Supporting her every Step of the way .

But unfortunately dad passed away at 62...mom has got symptoms of dementia.... This interview is so important for a person ....the smallest decisions made by our parents ,the hardships they went through to get us educated and then sustain till they see their 3rd generation....such chats by dads in particular are very important as they speak lesser than moms...here too😊 Moms looove to talk and so they do😁 Dare not interrupt her😊 Ashya gappa bghne khup refreshing ahe..
