In todays video we are showcasing Early HYW English Army. This army was created for the specific battle of Poitiers but most if not all nobles and commanders where protagonists in the Edwardian and Caroline parts of the War
Most of the English Nobles where present at Crecy and dominated the Era in General.
Most of the miniatures are from Claymore Castings and some Mounted Commanders from 1st Corps

Brillant and inspiring work, thanks for sharing it. My project for the French side revolves from the jacquerie of 1358 to the battle of Cocherel, 1364. A time where the “routiers” or Free companies made the country look like Mad Max before the movie. Take care and good continuation.

Great collection. I too, love Claymore for HYW. I think probably the best castings for this period.

Thank you dear Graham i would suggest in order to see my complete collection to watch my Scottish and Early French Showcases all Claymore. Yes i totally agree the best for the early 14th century period and i believe the best in general out there their quality is amazing!

I do enjoy Claymore Castings, it's a specific area of the medieval times that gets skipped, and good, historical and well proportioned medieval figures are in short supply

Very true my friend most gamers go for the later period but i love the early part of the HYW and there is no better manufacturer depicting the era than Claymore castings which i believe are the best Medieval minis out there. Thank you for watching my friend!

It´s always a pleasure to see your showcases. Especially the Edwardian Phase of the HYW. It´s a bit sad that most manufacturers focus on the Agincourt War.

I would suggest you have a look at my ''Creating Miniature Armies'' Series the videos will help you a lot also my ''Heraldry Coat of arms'' videos (two if i remember well) have links that will be useful my Pocket Biographies videos can help you decide on Nobles you might want to have leading your armies and from my Book flip thoughts you can find books you might want to purchase giving a lot of info on the period like for example ''Creating Miniature Knights'' very good book with loads of info. Also i am here anything you might need don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for watching my friend!

Yes unfortunately this is true! if I am not mistaken all three armies have never been deployed together in a big battle..😂😂 this is my aim for 2024-2025 but I don’t think it will be possible yet… maybe after retirement..😂

Maybe during Christmas when i go home for more days.. but i still enjoy my Skirmish battles in Saudi my Barons War and Blood and Crowns games.. ohhh yes in my line of business is the place to be in the whole planet.. Thank you my friend glad you enjoyed the showcase! Well I would suggest Osprey and generally war gaming magazines and books. In my opinion this is the best and quickest way to learn the period without needing to read long books that sometimes have specific topics or in order to explain the period are generic and you miss all the fun characters and battles..but if you want to go for a book I would go for Agincourt by Juliet Barker at least you get a very good idea of the Agincourt campaign.
