I'm back again, adding shiny new stuff to my Black Templars force! I'm on my second Leviathan box and most of the space marines will be assigned to my ever growing Black Templars army. My Black Templars shelf is one of my favourites in my collection and I'm not nearly done yet. As with last week's Terminator video, I used 3d printed parts to add something extra to my model before painting it in my very quick and easy scheme. Super pleased with the result and love how he looks next to his brothers!

I use these same steps, except I now use AK Terrain Fire Land texture paste instead of Martian Ironcrust!

Superb top to bottom...so take that to heart first...then I'd say that whilst white is too much I do like ulthuan grey with a wash over it for black templars instead of the ushanti bone...but hey yours looks great. Well done.

Victor! His name shall be Victor 😂 Love the one holding the sword. I think that adds great character. I've just done a mental count up of my dreads, and I have 6-7 Redemptor chassis dreads. 2 in my Ultramarines, I can't remember if it's 2 or 3 unbuilt alongside 2 others in my Crimson Fists.

This was an amazing vid. I love the flames and the other resin parts. This almost gives off a chaplain vibe in look. I have not thought of a name for my Ballistus Dreadnaught yet. I am currently working on 5 Infernus marines and used heads as well as purity seals and relics from the Primaris crusader box and Templars upgrade box. Not too different from the original but just a little Templars twist.

I still don't know what do do with my Space Marines side. I'll probably use some of the characters and convert them into Death Guard. Mabye I'll paint the rest Raven Guard

have watched all your videos how you paint black temple and i almost did like you. Instead of teak entire models with Nuln oil. so I make it so that when I paint with zandri dust and ushabti bone, I paint on null oil on shoulder protection and weapons. and nothing on space marine at all. It looks like it has been at war for years. try and do it sometime. I have painted all my black templars like that. mvh hedman from Swedish Lapland. You are super good at painting have learned a lot from your videos

Love your templars may i suggest the names. Dubhlainn - Irish in origin and means black sword. Axton - An Old English name that means the stone of the sword wielder. sort of ironic now hes given them up!

The close combat dread is called brutalis and bone on marines is hard look at my chapter screaming skull/khorne red 😂and all those dreads wow

I've been using your recipe for black templar armour for a year now! It's so quick and easy and let's me focus on detailing. I'm preparing to paint up a land raider crusader with your contrast paint method, do you think it will work well on slanted armour panels?

Do you get that when you prime it in metallics, that the surface gets too slippery for paint? 😅

You can brush on a quick layer of leadbelcher by hand if you’re having trouble, it adds that grit back in for the paint to cling to!

It’s not a banner. It’s a shroud over a holy relic. Like a saints bones are under it. At least in my head it wouldn’t have.

Have to disagree there. There are different reasons for liking thinks. I love only warhammer fantasy models. Especially old metal units. But I don’t really have that for old 40K. And when it comes to spacemarines primaris are just so much more fun to build and paint and are the correct scale for standing next to guardsmen and stuff. Having said that I prefer the older rules. 4th Ed for me was the king of 40K. But I understand peoples want for them.
