Despite Mee Hailam sounds Chinese, it is a Malay-style noodle dish. I used chicken, shrimp, fish cakes, and additional shrimp to create a lavish version at home. It turned out to be quite delicious, which will cause me a bomb if I order it from a restaurant.
Mee Hailam is a type of noodle dish that is drenched in a thick, flavorful sauce. It is quite different from Chinese soup noodles or fried noodles. Please try it out, not only because it is unique but also because it is incredibly delicious.
