Hyunjin is in distress and not comfortable

As much as i wanna enjoy this game, i can't stop looking at hyunjin's reaction. He clearly has fear for ballons popping. As you can see, he's really uncomfortable the whole time, trying to avoid as far as he can from the balloon. And when the balloon pops at Changbin, which is besides him, he ran away. And at 7:04 he wipes his sweats. Yknow when you're too scared/has phobia of that thing, your heart beats fast n you become sweaty. That's how he felt. Poor him :(

it's very obvious that hyunjin is uncomfortable w/ this game can yall not? :( he couldn't even pretend to be playful anymore he was actually scared.... also they changed the original camera angle that showed changbin comforting hyunjin too and showed seungmin,chan and jisung instead

did anyone not fine this not funny and slightly uncomfortable, i thought all was well good but hyunjins seems SERIOUSLY scared and distressed. like hes not being funny or dramatic. he seemed genuinely unhappy ?

the moment hyunjin heard the words “balloon bomb” he started shaking his head. that should have been enough to tell he didn’t want to play it. not only that but at 5:33, you can see him plug his ears loonnggg before anyone else knew the balloon was ready. that was because he was watching closely because he was so terrified. it looks as if he was even having anxiety because in between we was VERY quiet & was looking down towards the ground. he would walk as far away from the balloon as possible when it wasn’t his turn, HE WAS SWEATING… literally standing there pulling on his shirt to create air & wiping away his sweat. & don’t even get me started on him dropping the balloon ! he was so terrified that it was going to pop without having his ears plugged/in his hands that he couldn’t wait until somebody grabbed onto it… ugh this was sad & frustrating to watch that no one stepped in to check on him or ask him if he was okay to continue playing or even offer anything to cancel out the noise. as someone who is TERRIFIED of loud bangs a popping noises (balloons being #1 on the list), i would have either immediately asked for ear plugs or noise canceling headphones. if they didn’t have that, i would have refused to play the game & sat off the the side with my ears plugged & my head between my knees while tapping my feet on the floor to comfort myself.

I feel Hyunjin. I’m absolutely terrified of balloons. I’m 25. It’s been one of my biggest phobias. I always got made fun growing up. Anytime there was a gallon around I’d have to leave the room or cover my ears.

Poor baby was so scared he literally ran to the back of the room and was fanning himself trying to calm down 😢 his discomfort was really genuine. he shouldn’t have to do things that make him so uncomfortable.

The vast majority of people have a bad reaction to loud pops, but there is a percentage of people who actually have a horrible phobia of balloons and loud pops in general. I am nobody to speak for Hyunjin but as a person who has a phobia of this type of outburst I saw and felt Hyunjin's fear as my own, even for a few seconds it was seen how the sweat dries. It's okay that they want to play these kinds of games, but I think the staff should ask the boys first if any of them don't want to play, and so whoever has a real panic of outbursts avoids a moment of stress and tension. If Hyunjin really has a strong phobia of outbursts, he recommends in good faith that they refrain from playing these types of games because, in the long run, he will not be within inches of a balloon. I say this as someone who has a genuine concern for boys and as someone who understands this kind of fear. There are many comments trying the same thing, and we look more at Hyunjin because he is the one we see with a greater fear, the other boys from what I saw have natural reactions what anyone would have, Hyunjin no, he reluctantly different. Take this as a suggestion, please, not an attack or anything like that. If y’all don’t know: Hyunjin has a phobia of balloons/balloons popping and this reality show played on that. They should apologize for causing him mental distress. Playing on peoples fears is not okay. If you’re a real Stay you can understand his fears :(

Hyunjin looked so uncomfortable here. It’s clear that he has a fear of sudden/loud noises, and I have that too! Sometimes it gets really bad that I start crying because of the amount of anxiety I get, and I understand hyunjin. Honestly, he should’ve been able to step out of the game and go to a different room or get earplugs or something.

I noticed that Hyunjin is scared of the balloon popping sound. The moment I saw it in one of hyunlix videos, my heart broke for him. I wish they didn't have to play this game. Han and Felix kept glancing towards him, even other members. They didn't show Hyunjin for a long time because he was probably calming himself down and changbin too since he must be helping him and the moment the balloon pops at changmin, Hyunjin is seen scared so far away. It really is heartbreaking :(

I have phonophobia and know exactly how he feels. It's a feeling of pure anxiety when exposed to the loud noises we worry about. It can range from balloons, fireworks, gunshots, thunderstorms to more ordinary things like dog barking, door slamming, or a butcher's knife hitting a chopping block. Even when the sound is in movies, I have to turn it down because I get anxious just watching the source of the sound. I had to turn this video all the way down for the same reason. It's no fun, and people who are like me wish it weren't the case. We can become such buzzkills in supposed fun situations due to the fact that we're overcome with stress and anxiety and we can't function normally. I feel really sorry for him that he had to play this game. I was anxious watching him the whole time. People don't realize how debilitating it is.

I know what u feel Hyunjin, feeling fear of balloons. When I was young I blow a balloon. The balloon exploded in my mouth even though the balloon was not that big. Since then I have been traumatized by blowing up and holding balloons.
