You join me today for a feature video on something a little bit different. It's a B5.5 Passat in the form of a W8 engine (basically 2 VR4's bolted together). Very rare and certainly one of the most bizarre & unusual cars I've ever come across. It is however something very very special!

I own an almost identical car with factory option Ricaro seats. Superb drive with 69k on the clock, but due to my age I’m being pressured to get rid.

Great cars, I have an estate version, 113 km, fully original car. It can can be quick, it just needs to build up some momentum, then it is on song. I own too many German cars 8, and of course and Alfa, and two Fiat 20vt Coupe's. I always feel like I am having the time of my life with my cars, and I watch and see if anyone cares, ah that would be a big NO. Still I watch others cars and love to see them out and about, loved this ride with you too, thanks.

Parts availability is the issue. I have an '03 W8 w/ 6spd manual and only 60,000 miles.

I've had problems finding the 17" BBS "Madras" wheels. The suspension can be problematic, if driven too hard. There are some engine out maintenance issues that can be very expensive to fix. To change the headlight assemblies, the whole front clip of the car has to come off.
