Had the pleasure to meet Melina at Brazil's Comic Con last december and she was the absolute nicest person! I've become a fan of not only her work, but of her as a person as well. I wish only the best for her!

Senua's character in Hellblade 1 was phenomenal. she had empathy, she was caring, a bit vulnerable, even terrified with trauma, but she had the resolve to push through and was a badass warrior.

Dear Melina and dear Ninja Theory team overall. I am still blasted by Hellblade, Melina portrait Senua so damn well, that she will stay one of my favorites what realistic, empathy creating fictional characters can be. Also I really liked the behind the scenes where we could see Melina growing into the person, that can say that she and Senua have a lot in common. It was inspiring and heartwarming and for me Melina and Senua are two sides of a medallion. Connected by a fictional and a real life story that both are inspiring and heartwarming while somehow heartbreaking. Thank you for this emotional rollercoaster and thank you for not shy away from talking about mental health. Love from Germany.💜

I'm so happy for Ninja Theory! An indie studio with a phenomenal concept made into a Triple A game :) And Melina fits so wonderfully to play Senua both personally and conceptually, instead of hiring a celebrity! That decision made Senua one of us, instead of a famous face for marketing purposes. Thanks for your efforts in bringing these stories to life! All of you guys deserve good things coming your way.

Thank you, Melina! I think all players who love this game (series) find a little bit of Senua in themselves and that is because of your great acting. I've never been this invested in a fictional character in any media. I've played Senua's sacrifice in a very hard (mentally) period in my life and I learned many lessons through this experience. Your energy radiates from the screen into the souls of many people with great power and that makes Senua real. I can't wait to start another adventure with Senua.

Today is the day!! My most anticipated game of the year! To all fans of independent, mature and story driven games, vote with your wallet! I never, ever preorder games but this one I did months ago already! The 2017 original was one of the most enthralling, most gut wrenching and heartbreaking narrative focused video game I’ve ever played! A true masterpiece and the first (and only) game to ever make me cry! If the sequel is even half as good then it’ll be well worth the asking price.

Back in 2017 I preordered first game after only one interview with Antoniades. It was mesmerizing how he described it, the footage from the game. And keep in mind I am a person with only 5 preorders in 17 years. This game just pure art, talent and creativity. We blessed to have developers like this in the age of cheap live-service garbage and Fortnite.

Two things, I hope they fixed combat because having enemies jump at you from behind and off screen was annoying, and two, she seems like a perfectly normal young woman and I expected her to be a mud drenched snarling woman screaming at a tree stump.

At first I thought "Senua's Saga" was referring to the group of games with Senua as protagonist 🤔 But now I'm thinking this specific game is called Senua's Saga (?) Like the previous was called Senua's Sacrifice? 🤔

It's probably bc Senua's story arc in the sequel will be totally different. In the first game, her quest was to bring her lover back from the dead, which led to her accepting his death instead (among some other lessons she learned). In this sequel, she's in Iceland, and from the info I collected, her main objective will be to free other people from the Vikings.
