looks like the ladder Ive been waiting for , now tell me its made in the usa too , and it wont be crazy priced in the uk , and Ill take two.

We make a lot of ladders in our manufacturing facility in Springville, Utah, but the Conquest is one that we engineered and developed, but is not currently produced here. How many levels do the out rigging levelers have?

It gives about 6.5 inches of leveling, which would be quite a slope! And it adjusts in increments of about a quarter of an inch. And one other tip regarding the All-terrain outriggers: Always deploy both of them to their first position, and then if needed, adjust one side longer. Never use the ladder if the outriggers haven't been brought out to their first position.

The model 17 weighs 42 pounds. That is the All-terrain version. If you don't need the all-terrain levelers, the model 17 weighs 37.5 pounds. www.littlegiantladders.com/products/conquest-2-0

Give me a honest reply, which is stringer out of two versions fiberglass or aluminum?

The main reason I would go with fiberglass is if you are working around electricity and need a fiberglass ladder. However, Aluminum lasts longer in general. So if you know you won't be doing electrical work, I would go aluminum for sure. Our fiberglass is really awesome though, and the hi-viz green color helps with safety for anyone on a jobsite as well.

@@LittleGiantLadders Thanks for the honesty, however i have noticed the aluminum version ladder is not exactly the same as the fiberglass. Could you let me know if you have the exact same version as the fiberglass in aluminum as i am interested to make purchase. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply. In the UK, there is one called the "Conquest All-Terrain PRO" (aluminum with safety rail accessory) and one called the "Conquest All-Terrain" (aluminum version but the exact same as the fiberglass UK) and one called "Conquest All-Terrain GRP Fiberglass". So there are two aluminum options of the conquest in the UK. I hope that helps - I would search here www.tbdavies.co.uk/products-category/multi-purpose-ladders/ I would suggest checking out what the safety rails can do if you ever need a standoff or plan on getting on a roof as the attachment does help with that - and you can always remove them and store them separately so it doesn't add extra weight to the ladder.

The Model 17 with all-terrain outriggers weighs 42 pounds. Feel free to compare to other comparable fiberglass Type IA 300 lbs rated ladders. The Conquest serves a particular purpose, and the all-terrain outriggers are part of that. If you are less interested in that aspect, we also make a Dark Horse fiberglass Type IA ladder that weighs 32 pounds. It's all about what you need to get your job done safely.

The All-Terrain model 17 is indeed just over 500 dollars at the moment. The Conquest 17 without all-terrain outriggers is actually less expensive than the competition. (Look up the price of a model 17 fiberglass 300 lbs rated ladder from competitors and you'll be able to verify that to be true). Keep in mind the Conquest isn't the only fiberglass multi-position ladder we make. The Dark Horse is available now, and is cheaper, but will not include the accessory port on the top, and it does not have the narrow side, with the V-bar and ability to lean into or onto a corner. This at least gives you options for whatever you need. If the Conquest isn't what you need, consider the Dark Horse. Unfortunately, prices have gone up globally for essentially anything that you can buy, due to issues ranging from the supply chain to inflation.

They're too heavy. You'll hardly use it for that reason. I decided to get a basic aluminum super light you can lift with a finger just for inside the house you can touch ceiling when standing on the top. For outside got another light ladder that reaches the roof. That's $300 total maybe a little more depending, but you won't hesitate using these because they're light easy to use. Preferably for around the house but for work too, easily transport them and carry them.

The Conquest Model 17 All-Terrain weighs 42 pounds. This is not intended to be your average aluminum stepladder to touch the ceiling. This is a fiberglass ladder intended for anyone who is working near electricity. It sounds like you're compromising your safety for a cheaper solution - we hope you stay safe, regardless of what you use. If you don't mind, could you tell me what product you're using that is "light" and "reaches the roof"? And by "reaches", do you mean it reaches the gutters, or does it mean you can transfer and walk onto the roof?

I'd sooner trust a heavy ladder over a lightweight one any day. Cheap n lightweight doesn't make it better. I wouldn't exactly call 42 lbs heavy, In the uk the all terrain only comes in aluminium, which weighs 60 lbs, I'm still getting it.

While some of our ladders are designed and manufactured in the USA, we don't have the space to manufacture all of them here. So while we designed and prototyped this locally, it is manufactured overseas. We also ensure our ladders are QA tested here in Utah before we allow them to be sold.
