I like the way you categorize all cars , love your content

I'm going to say right away that I like this car better than most BEVs. Another thing is, for me, range doesn't make or break an EV for me unless it is unusable. This car has usable range. Why do I like it? This car to me has a nice exterior. It's sharp and stylish. The interior is like an understated executive jet. The dashboard is the one of the best I've seen IMO because it looks like a cockpit. I've been bothered by most dashboard and I've figured out why. Almost all of them have a placed screen somewhere or a few screens. They all seem to drop and place a screen somewhere or add it on. Here, Lexus adds a cockpit like shape and the screen is barely noticeable encased in the dashboard. The materials almost all look to be of high quality and there is practically no bling. No disco ambient lighting, no weird fake crystal, it's rather understated. Grown up. The fabrics are sustainable yet look soft and inviting in a modern envelope. This interior is pretty fantastic IMO. But this car instead of giving the usual overkill performance, gives great performance. It doesn't matter to me that other cars are faster because they're all too fast IMO. And it has functional "innovations." Radiant heating in EVs makes sense. It's a useful feature. And the variable steer by wire seems to be quite well implemented. This may be the steering of the future as it cuts down the amount of motion one has to make in low speed maneuvers. It also has anti-lift on acceleration and anti-squat on deceleration. And I agree with Omar. The Lexus vehicles have exceptional ride quality but they also have one of the more solid build qualities that makes the outstanding ride quality stand out even more. I read what I think is an odd comment that this car is "too expensive because of its poor range." I don't buy into this notion one bit. Range is one aspect of a car but quality, refinement, smoothness, materials are why cars what they cost--not only range. And I don't buy into EVs change that. EVs are still cars. And I'm glad to hear Omar say it isn't just a bZ4 X with a Lexus badge on it. People are slamming this car for no good reason. Don't like the range, then it's not for you. Maybe it isn't for you for other reasons if you want a sportier car for instance. But this is a fine vehicle. Is it a better buy than a Genesis? In some ways, no. In other ways, you get the Lexus service and Genesis hasn't established that yet. Don't like Toyota, don't like Lexus, that''s on you. Enough people do that it'll appeal to them if they want a Lexus experience with the benefits of quieter and smoother EV propulsion.

At this price of $65k for a limited EV range < 220 mile ? This thing won’t get anywhere far!

The Cadillac lyriq got this in the bag with better value and range is 300 + and it to looks like nothing else on the road

Gonna b a lot of rock chips on that front end. Even with ppf, it will look like crap after all the peeling plastic from rocks

You really wasted your time with this ev. I feel sorry you fell victim to Lexus’s pathetic marketing stunts. You should have flat out refused to review this ev. The time you wasted could have been spent reviewing evs that are ACTUALLY competitive
