My Five Parsecs From Home crew is ready! As should be pretty obvious, I am leaning heavily into the Firefly vibe for their look and feel. I'm planning to put together battle reports with more narrative flair than dice-rolling. I've already had a ton of fun coming up with the little snippets of backstory included in this video.

Thanks! I've rolled up their first mission, and I'm working on the narrative bit while I finish painting the baddies (another Kill Team I've been procrastinating on).

Aside from the Tau model where did the minis come from?

The robot is a Sicaran Infiltrator from 40k. The rest I printed. Flux is Gabriela from PrintMinis. The other three are from Loot Studios collections. I don't think Loot sells their sci-fi STLs individually atm.

Kennecott... mighty interesting name for a mining planet. You wouldn't by chance be familiar with a space port named M.R.S.? Sort of a rail station. May hap you'd know Gajo. A bit of a game hall, that one. 😄

I did steal it from a real world Kennecott Mine, but the one I was thinking of is a ghost town in Alaska.

The majority are 3D printed from Loot Studios and PrintMinis. Two are repurposed 40k minis.

The captain, Viandi (pink sword alien), and Drake are all from Loot Studios. Flux is Gabriela from PrintMinis. The robot and The sniper are 40k models (Sicaran Infiltrator and Tau Pathfinder)
