Derrick Henry IS the GREATEST High School Running Back of all time.
Born and raised in Yulee, Florida, he set the national high school football record for career rushing yards with the Yulee Hornets. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide, where during his junior season, he broke Herschel Walker's single-season college rushing yards record in the SEC and won the 2015 Heisman Trophy, the Doak Walker Award, the Maxwell Award, and the Walter Camp Award.

The fact he was ranked 4th in the country at RB is ridiculous. Literally the greatest hs RB of all time ranked 4th

The guy is the ultimate workhorse. The guy led the NFL in rushing, the NCAA in rushing and is the all time HS rusher in history. Kid took a lot of punishment and give it back.

Man I miss the year's watching him play in high school!!!! U couldn't mess with him!!! I seen him every Friday night and it was so awesome I was part of the drumline and every time he wanted something specific played by the drumline he would throw his hand up to me and make a specific hand sign tell me which cadence to play!!! 🤙💯

Good friend of mine was his Pop~Warner coach in Yulee... He said even as a kid, he was Very Special and stood out.

This guy is a true traditional running back and no matter what he will keep you in every single game. No matter who they play they are always in the games even if the have 21 outta 22 starters better. You may never see this again.

Great video he still doesn't get the respect he deserves. I knew he would be a star the first time I saw him play at Bama. We would've had a better shot against Oklahoma that year if he would've played the whole game.

He broke the record AFTER Kelvin Taylor did. Yulee won more playoff games and he finally caught up and surpassed Taylor during the playoffs as Taylors team lost in the first round.
