Raising prices is tough and scary. We lost 3 already but that's OK. You will lose some but your price increase should make up for it. So you will do less work for the same money or more

Y’all helped my wife and i get to over 250k in only two years with JUST her and I working. Completely legal and insured. But we use jobber and we stay very busy with too grit clients. We compete with the big dogs here in Florida. Thanks guys.

Loved that you replayed this video Keith, Awesome wisdom and experience. That new video you put out last was so informative on pricing is really helpful us that just mow yard's. Could possibly consider asking customers to put new mulch during our downtime in the winter to have some kind of income coming in during no grass growth.

in our business we eliminate the need for all that stuff and have just grass up to the building saving the customer a ton of money in landscape work which is never ending,some prefer it and some dont but with such a niche market it does well in certain areas,currently booked til summer with removal

I charge for consultation . 75 dollar and if they have me back i charge 50/hr plus first hour is paid for in consultation charge. thats just like maintenance and clean ups. my mother has a clothing store so i did a garden in my style to attract people id like to work for lol. Love keith dude! Would love to meet you and show you my work ahaha. I am learning the business aspect more this season thanks to family and connections. You are one of my heroes dude!! Was just to horticulture school this past year and am raring to go!!!

For the plastic that goes around the trees or separates the grass from garden beds, how do you charge for that?

That's black diamond edging yes we charge to install that. $200 per 10ft. Section installed is what we charge. And that might seem expensive. But of you've ever actually installed it the proper way. Haha. Then you'll know exactly why.
