I've actually met and played with Paul, my guitar class went on a tour of his factory in Maryland, and while everyone was loading onto the bus Paul sat down and started playing with me and we jammed for like 5 min it was so cool

I've got to hand it to Mr Smith. I've had an ongoing issue with my 2015 PRS SE Tremonti. Already shipped it back for a problem with the nut slots and it didn't completely get fixed. I eventually got to talk to his private secretary about it. She talked to him and he gave me a free shipping label to ship it back again because this time PRS himself is going to fix it. Pretty awesome.

I love Paul. He’s a genuine person. He’s straight forward and always speaks his mind. I see a lot of people complaining that he keeps plucking away at the guitar he’s holding while Lee is talking. He isn’t being rude, it’s just the person he is. I do it, too. He’s still able to give Lee his attention, talk, and answer his questions. If you’re as passionate of a guitarist and luthier as he is, it’s incredibly difficult to just hold a guitar and not play it, even subconsciously. PRS is excellent, Paul is great, Lee is incredible. Rock n’ roll, Anderton’s!

I got so excited once I saw this, it's awesome listening to Paul's love for his craft and the captain is fantastic in these videos...

In order to watch and appreciate Paul without feeling dumbfounded, you have to understand the man is less concerned about how much money he's making every day, and more concerned with the instrument in his hand, listening to the tone of the wood as he plays -- he congratulates Andertons not because of raw sales, but because he literally wants everyone to own a PRS and experience what it's like to have a true living, breathing instrument in your hands. He is, first and foremost, chasing tone and loves music -- he's not going to talk numbers, pour over specs, or even discuss the differences in quality between his guitars for any extended period of time.

I really like these "Captain Meets..." videos. Every one of them has been informative and really well done. Good job to all the folks at Andertons who made this happen, and of course to Mr. PRS and the Captain. Please keep this series? going... its a great tweener mix of relevant 1st hand information, insider observation, and bullshit.

I've been watching Andertons videos for years and always enjoy the content, but this time I felt compelled to say, this is one of the most entertaining, informative and honest videos I've had the pleasure of watching! These videos-- and Robs videos too-- make the universe a better place, no doubt!

Paul embodies the typical Maryland resident. Constant tangents and sarcasm the entire way down. On the John Mayer note, the fact that he doesn't want/can't say anything is the first indication that there will be a John Mayer signature model (imo). If there wasn't going to be one, I'm pretty sure he would flat out say no they are not going to make a signature model, because there would be no reason to protect or be ethically or even legally compliant like he is currently. #savingmy$forthatJM

I've been binge watching your and Rob Chapman's videos lately. I was starting to get a bit burnt out on the shredding that sometimes happens in those videos. All the guitars were starting to blur together. The playing in here was refreshing. Love the sound you guys were getting out of these guitars. I came away with a feeling like I know what a PRS guitar sounds like (vs. the feeling that yes, you can turn it up and shred... if that makes any sense)

It's been interesting to see how PRS and Paul has really started to embrace video, especially in the last few years. I have never met Paul in person but after watching hours and hours of video with him, it's neat to see how what I think is his personality come through... he's smart, well educated, opinionated and friendly. In the end, he's like his guitars... what you see if what you get every time.

I just got a PRS Custom 24 as a gift. I've always been a Fender/Gibson guy, and I never payed much attention to PRS. I was pleasantly surprised by the PRS. It's a nice guitar. The tone is unique. It sounds like a Les Paul with a sinus infection.

I was at a seminar at Brian’s Guitars in Cheshire, CT(USA) met PRS, watched Him and listened to Him closely. Very cool, down to earth fellow. I’ve had my share of guitars. They’re not my favorite to play. The two PRS guitars I’ve had(still have my hollowbody ii) are voiced like nothing I’ve ever heard. Intonation? It’s incredible. His brain is that of an inventor, an engineer, an artist. It’s always going. Things pop in to His head. I don’t think He means to be rude, it’s just Him. Very cool video. If I ever get time, I’ll upload the video I took from the seminar.

been playing for 40 odd years mainly strats i decided a change was in order so just got a PRS single cut from Andertons, all i can say is thank you to paul and the captain, great guitar, great service. don't know about 3rd , I think F&G have been relying on there rep for too long PRS seem to go from strength to strength, long may it continue.

Great video. I got a lovely PRS SE 245 from Andirons and I was blown away by the build quality on it. The sound doesn't quite nail what I want, but playability and finish are incredible. I can't wait to switch out the pick ups for some Bareknuckle Peter Greens

I love Paul's voice, reminds me of my Family in Baltimore.

I'm buying a prs very soon but I don't know wether I'm gonna by ce24 or custom24. I really like the tone of the bolt on maple neck and the feel of the satin finish and honestly the only thing I like more about the custom24 is the 5 way switch and I also care a lot about all the fine details on it. I know it would be obvious for me to buy the ce24 but when money isn't the problem I find it hard to buy the one with plastic inlays instead of mother of pearl. Any advice?
