He looks like a combination of Slimer and the Scoleri brothers ghosts from GB2. I really hope slimer returns in the new film, but i feel that was kinda implied when green glows from within the ghost trap that Paul Rudd is holding in the trailer.

The name "Muncher" honestly sounds (and looks) like a lazy Slimer knockoff; the country mouse to Slimer's city mouse, I guess? 🤷🏿‍♂️ I'd like to be proven wrong; hoping within the context of the film Muncher takes on some new, interesting characteristics, but for now, it's giving "scrapped concept art" vibes

I don't like the look of Muncher, though I'm glad it isn't Slimer. Because it would just not make sense for this new crew all these years later to all of a sudden come across the Slimer ghost. If they had picked Slimer, it wouldn't have been to serve the story. But it would have instead been to be able to make and sell Slimer toys and merch.

Although he looks pretty cool and gross just like slimer, he looks more an alien from Marvel or a creature from Lord of the Rings then he does a ghost.

I'm sorry but this film sounds every bit more terrible by the day, and now news that basically a gray/blue Slimer look alike is taking the place of or is in the way of the actual Slimer, as fans know Slimer was a food-mad, obese ghostly apparition, and so what is the point of Muncher aka Slimer mark 2 exactly ?.
