I wish we could have them as pets there really adapted to ppl in nm but we’re not allowed interacting with them there so smart and locally good luck to see or have one take up residence near you there my absolute fav bird we watch them all the time as they tend to hang around neighborhoods where food is abundant like I said smart

I thought they were cute until one had my yard prairie lizard for breakfast on day. Lizards eat all those bad insects that show up in the Arizona deserts.
