Күн бұрынHi ya'll! We are excited to announce that we will be attending two events next week and would love to meet and chat with you all if you are able to join us!
The first event is located in Orange County, California for the Orange County Beekeeper's Association Bee Club on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022. Here Jose will be speaking to members about everything beekeeping and queen breeding related.
The second event is the Hive Life Conference by Kamon Reynolds in Sevierville, Tennessee on January 7th and 8th, 2022. Jose will not be speaking at this event but instead will be enjoying the incredible line-up of guests they have prepared, and also will be taking advantage of the once-a-year discounts being offered by vendors. If you are interested in placing a 2022 queen order, please reach out at thecaliforniabeekeeper@gmail.com. Orders are taken on a first come, first serve basis and require a 30% deposit.
If you are new to our channel, welcome! We are a small family owned and operated micro-commercial apiary located in Northern California. We've been commercial beekeeping for the past 13 years, but branched off and opened Uribe Honey Bees in January of 2019, and then launched our KZfaq channel in April of 2020. We specialize in queen breeding, pollination services, hive management and brokering. We are passionate about sharing information and helping others within the beekeeping industry.

Hello Jose I really enjoy your video’s. It would have been great to shake your hand but I just couldn’t make it happen this year but most of all a big hats off to kamon an wife an all the great people who have worked so hard to put this on . That's great Jose. Not sure I'm going to make it. Bought a ticket to keep my options open. Should be a fun couple of days! :D - It's going to be around 9F Friday AM at our place (2.5hrs away) but warmer in Sevierville at like 14F. - Hopefully warmer inside. lol

@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper I always said God is merciful in TN. Once it drops below 20F, the wind decreases exponentially. It also warms up fast. Probably be 45-50F by lunchtime. Just wanted to make sure you brought a jacket. Hope to see you there.

@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper I tried mini foam nucs this year and had terrible luck with them. I couldn't keep enough bees in them and they got robbed so I have up. I only tried 4. I did better with the 2 story foam nucs that goes for like $30-$35

Hi Jose, just be careful when traveling and at the conference: Wear an N95 or KN95 mask when indoors. You don''t want to bring back the omigod variant back home to your family and friends.

I’ll be subbing and feeding when I return from the conference. We are in a cold snap at the moment but yes it still is warm but cooler than last year 🙌🏼

Jose, I’m from the Roll Tide state so I will be at the conference as I was last year. If I see you I will give you a shout! It will be nice to get a connection for buying quality Queens. I haven’t had very good experiences with buying Queens. The last ones I ordered was in 2020 and they came DOA. I subscribed to your channel a few days ago after watching you on the live bee chat.
