Meet Buddy, a new companion robot designed with human-like expressions, different moods, and a gentle voice. Buddy has the ability to carry on conversations with his human companions.
While this emotional robot's design makes him a fun addition to any family, his developers have set their sights on a nobler purpose - elder care.
With access to elder care in such high demand, it’s becoming more and more costly and difficult to find. But companions robots present a viable solution and soon, they might be a part of every household.

Lol our emotions are programed by genetics and culture. Although more complex our emotions are not any more or less real than the robots simulated emotions

Its crazy how few people are not alarmed by this. This really show how less social we are becoming with actual people. The developers are insane to compare us to robots. We are so much more than robots. Robots will never feel the gap that humans are meant to fill. completely insane.
