A premeeting agenda can help organize the meeting, keep everyone on track, and ensure that objectives are accomplished. The degree of specificity in your agenda is a matter of personal preference. For a group where everyone knows one another, is familiar with the background, and works well together, a loosely structured agenda can get things going without limiting ideas or creativity. On the other hand, if the participants don’t know each other well, or are not up to speed on the project or topic, a tightly structured agenda may be just the thing to keep everyone informed, interested, and enthusiastic.
