I couldn't agree more. However, the more I listen to genre-defining artists from 20-50 years ago the more I start to appreciate the real, groundbreaking work they did. God only knows how much people like Bowie or Janice Joplin would have dominated the music scene today if they'd been given the opportunity!

June 18th 2021, my younger brother was hit by a Jeep. At 26 he was nearly completely crippled, this song makes me cry for him I want to trade places with him. Just take my arms and legs, my spinal cord and God give them to him. I've dedicated my days to caring for him and it kills me everyday.

I had Kate Bush's original album with this song on it back in 1985 and loved it, but man!!! After hearing this, I was awestruck; it really blew me away! I can say this is the best cover I have ever heard. Meg Myers sang it perfectly. Everything about this version is absolutely remarkable! Thank you Meg for the rebirth of an excellent song

The commenters saying that Bush’s original version is better are clearly wearing nostalgia headphones or simping for Stranger Things, because holy cow Myers’s cover actually made me LIKE this fucking song. Kate Bush, bless her, can NOT hold a note and the original was so off-tempo to boot. This cover sounds like it was actually composed by someone with an ear for music.
