I agree, I also got into watching these videos during the shut down. I have to admit my mom was the one who showed them to me, he friend is an unboxing specialist and told me that these were some of the finest she had ever seen.

9:48 John, that run of 1959 Sonic Blue Stratocasters by John English is one of my favorite models I’ve seen by the custom shop! I remember seeing a picture of the masterbuilt version online a long time ago and being absolutely floored. Glad to know someone else appreciates that particular release too! Since then, Sonic Blue has been my favorite Strat color!

Not enough Tele's :( And that first one looked like it was somewhere in between Bonnie Pink and Fiesta Red. Maybe just the lighting, or just faded fiesta? Absolutely loved it whatever it is

Great video guys. Personally I'd rather you left out the distracting background guitar playing so I could just concentrate on what you're saying.

Because this is a rosewood Strat and Clapton always prefered and played maple Strats. Easy as that:) For insiders: Clapton actually played a rosewood Strat once, in the jam with Chuck Berry in the film hail hail rock n roll.

May I make a suggestion for future unboxing videos? No background music during the video. Very distracting. I want to hear about the guitar and what you say spec wise etc., not have to compete with busy background music. Thank you for considering this. LOVE the unboxing videos, otherwise!

As usual terrible imitation wear on the neck frets 2 to 12 as if everyone played only between those frets over the years. Awful looking

Need an aged saddle for a cs 57 strat… cannot get em …cannot buy em ???? Send a video of the failure or take guitar to an authorized repair shop! Good luck with that . RUKM ? Fender Custom Care 🖕🏼

I’ve never had any issues getting free spare parts for my CS Strat (the plastic used for the 60th anniversary ‘54 tone/volume knobs is prone to cracking). Are you in the UK?
