A mega 6 hour stint from 10am to 4pm including a huge variety of traction from classes 43, 47, 57, 66, 68, 70, 90 and 92 along with new 805 units.
Highlights include
Numerous 805s on test runs (805002, 805006, 805007, 805008, 805010)
A double headed 70 and 66 on a Crewe Basford Hall to Southampton MCT working
Two pairs of Rail Adventure HST power cars top and tailing new 777053 from Walton Old Jn to Long Marston
Light engine 57003 running from Crewe to Barrow Hill L.I.P.
Light engine 92038 running from Wembley Inter City Depot to Crewe TMD
66738 "Huddersfield Town" unusually setting off from the UDG line after being held at a red light due to congestion on a Hams Hall to Mossend service
West Coast Railways 47802 taking empty stock from Southall WCR to Carnforth Steamtown
Colas Tamper DR73921 running from Rugby to Chester
Class 121 bubble car 55022 "Flora" running from Kidderminster SVR to Crewe H.S.

Cheers Arthur and definitely the busiest and most varied session since I started my channel. There was so much going on it was difficult to keep up with 2 or 3 freights queueing to get a path through the station. Delays to some passenger services made it very busy and it must have been a difficult time for the signallers. I don't think I've been up and down the stairs between platforms 4 and 5 as much! I had to cut some of the later shots short just to make sure my camera battery lasted 👍

What on earth do they use "Flora" for? I remember seeing those things on the "Marlow Donkey" fifty odd years ago, and they certainly weren't trimmed like THAT...!

Many heritage DMUs have quite a following! Good to see them still running and Flora is a great example of some fine workmanship.
