The early shots are from Summerseat station, just a few miles along the line from Bury. Also the shot of the bridge over the river is only a 5 minute walk from the station.

Like anywhere there are busy days and quieter days but due to congestion caused by late running passenger services I hit the jackpot for this video!

Cheers Arthur and definitely the busiest and most varied session since I started my channel. There was so much going on it was difficult to keep up with 2 or 3 freights queueing to get a path through the station. Delays to some passenger services made it very busy and it must have been a difficult time for the signallers. I don't think I've been up and down the stairs between platforms 4 and 5 as much! I had to cut some of the later shots short just to make sure my camera battery lasted 👍

Definitely worth a walk to one of the 3 nearby bridges since the platforms can be a bit scary with the Pendolinos blasting through at 110mph line speed! It's a very good location for freight.

Wish I had been on a train as well! Very cold on that bridge in the strong wind especially early on 🥶
