I am going to paint some rattan chairs. I didn't know what color to paint , if natural, white or blue. Decided for white with blue fabric. How should I prepare the rattan for painting? What number sand paper should I use? Any paint recommendation?

The part where you are painting that yellow desk and put those black dots on the side of the drawers reminded me of when I was 4 years old (65 years ago) and took a bottle of black shoe polish and dobbed black dots all over my aunt's white bathroom. LOL Then when confronted on the adults seeing it and knowing I did it, I told them a tiger came in the bathroom and did it.

I'm only @ 9:18. The bench is cute, but I liked it better when it was just sanded and distressed. But mostly I wanted to say, don't ever snack while watching a video that speeded up! I like the centerpiece from the dining table on the coffee table. You're right that it pulls everything together. I LOVE what you've done with the coffee table and the room in general. The sofa looks great! The only thing that looks a little off to me is the gray color behind the wreath in the piece that's over the sofa. Otherwise, it's looking really wonderful! Great job!

That third piece with the lid, is early american furniture. My mother had one of those. It was a sewing basket/table. She used it as an endtable in later years.

Loved the trunk and the piece and color, prior!! However, it killed me to see you paint the green bench. I absolutely Loved it after all the sanding🤩 just prior to the paint. It looked very old and Very farmhouse but also would fit into Any style, at that point. Of course, everyone has their own and unique style and color. GREAT JOB(S)!! P.S. It's refreshing to see a video sped up as i'm constantly saying, "come on, come on" lol... and, moving it fwd, often getting too far then trying to get back to a place, a little+ farther than where i said, come on....invariably, wasting more time than i would have leaving it alone, lol Love your work❣️

I’m trying to convert two very old bureaus to go with a white very ornate five piece in white. Also the name of a wood cleaner. I believe they are chalk base and very delicate mouldings and colours are plae pink mauve blue and I think the edging is done with powered gray paint. I want to turn the two mahogany into white with transfers all down the front drawer’s in white lily of the valley pink roses and lilac
