First time I have seen your channel but first off I really like the trough drains on all sides of the wash area. love the large wash hose and the large volume of water. So many just have a garden hose or work from a bucket. Not good!!! More should put the water under the rug at this point. At this time you can see so much dirt coming out. It seems that you wash the back first. I can see that this lets a lot of the water you put under the carpet washes a lot of the dirt out of the top of the carpet. Nice!!! I like the fact that you re-flood the carpet for a second time in the spinner.

I'm glad you like our workspace, we designed these drains ourselves and it was a very good idea. We have water hoses of different diameters, it depends on what we use them for at the moment. But for direct rinsing, 1 inch is best. You have noticed that we start cleaning the carpet from the warp side, this allows faster dissolution of dirt from the fleece side. We always check after the first spin whether the carpet is free of impurities and washing agents, this allows you to maintain the best quality.

I wonder why you don't give the floor the right slope to drain the dirty water, so it comes back and you have to do double the work

In a way, you're right, the proper slope of the floor would improve water drainage, but for us it's not a problem, on the contrary, sometimes it helps us to dissolve the dirt faster. It's like soaking a dirty rug before washing.

the floor isn't convex so the rug just marinates in dirty puddles which need to be pushed manually throughout the process; this can probably be fixed for less than 1% of the price of the cleaning equipment used

This dirty water is needed in the washing process. It's like washing a blouse in a bowl of water. We wash, the water gets dirty, we pour out the water, we rinse and the blouse is clean. How do you imagine washing a blouse in a bowl without water?

@@cleanlublin thank you for the response - I doubt the blouse analogy is valid for power washing and while I understand the need for the substrate to be wet, many of your videos capture a fair bit of time spent on walking around and pushing away the puddles which are around - not under - the rug

Noooo! You never cleaned the bottom or rinsed it after many scrubs on top. The rug just kept bleeding dirt! Should have put water underneath to drain and scrubbed the bottom. Mountain Rug Cleaning is still the best 😏

Rugs can vary in price range from 50$ to 5000$! And some of them have sentimental value for the clients, which makes them priceless. The clients decide whether to wash their rug or not

@shahfahad3543 Well, that water doesn't disappear forever. It's probably not 100% recycled, but cleanliness and hygiene are important too. In some countries, pollution from factories and urban sewers ends up in rivers, and this is simply a waste of our planet's natural resources. I am glad that you are not indifferent to water consumption, but look at it this way that it is better to clean the carpet than to produce a new one and throw away the old one (then we waste twice) Regards.
