Released in February 1997, Mega Man 8 was the first Mega Man game to appear on a 32-bit system. Unlike a lot of previous Mega Man games, Wily doesn't dick around and reveals himself to be the main villain early in the game. The story starts off with some nonsense concerning dark energy and a new robot named Duo, but in the end we all know Mega Man's true purpose is simply beating up Wily another time. it says majority of the video comments dont go to my KZfaq INBOX even though im USING KZfaq. NOT GOOGLEY GOOGLE. IM SO CONFUSED/PISSED. Now I don't even know what comments i'm not reading, normally what i'd do is read every single comment from you guys in the youtube inbox, but now they tell me its on google+, i go there and there's nothing there. #DontUnderstand

I'm playing this right now and this is no doubt one of the hardest Mega Man games I've ever played... The bosses are insanely difficult to beat and their health only goes down a little bit at a time...

no hate but i have to say I'm glad BlueGlass is sitting in the back, some other GDQ runs I've watched his laughter becomes really disruptive, much louder than anything else in the video. I know he's a good guy, but it's important to keep practical things like that in mind when producing videos

When I saw PS2, I had that thought of “Oh God, it’s the Anniversary Collection version. This is gonna suck!” But after seeing that it was the PS1 disc on PS2, I breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that they wouldn’t be putting up with the bullshit plaguing the version in the Anniversary Collection.

So the cutscenes are roughly 5min and 29s, which makes the actual time if this run 53:05, which is 19s away from WR. Not bad :>

Watching this in 2023 is quite interesting to see how wholesome this event used to be. I admit that I hate how forced the donation reads feel though...glad they figured out to let the player play in later years.

You did PSX version because it's quicker, but it turns out that some content is left out. The Sega Saturn version is the definitive release with all of the content, since the PSX version is more of a holiday season rush-job (released December 1996, as opposed to the Saturn's release of January 1997).

I dont get why this game gets so much crap,it has cool robotmasters,the sfx and music are amazing. The horrible voice acting is not a good excuse to judge the entire game,MMX4 also has an awful dub,blame america's horrible localization. Thankfully i didnt had to stand X4's crappy english voices when it was originally released cuz my brother and i had the japanese version wich came with the psx he bought.

I totally get why people hate it. It looks like a joke compared to the first 5 - 6 games. There's so little effort put in this game by the looks of it. Same with the X series, which pretty much completed the transfer from fantastic to garbage.

Even here you can start seeing the "X"-generation, or what I can call it, come into play. They should've stopped making Mega Man after 5 or 6. But unfortunately every great game series get an unworthy end to their reign, by releasing way to many sequels, and milking the cow bone dry. After Mega Man 6 the whole series became a joke. It litteraly looks like a joke nobody even gave a fuck about making funny.
