MM9 has a fantastic arsenal of weapons. Magma Bazooka and Laser Trident are the prime examples of great combat weapons, Jewel Satellite is the best shield weapon ever, Tornado Blow is the usual screen nuke, Hornet Chaser is a great all-around weapon, Plug Ball is a faster, longer-lasting version of the Bubble Lead from MM2, Black Hole Bomb is the unique weapon of the game that most Mega Man games have, and Concrete Shot can be used for a number of different things. This is one of the many reasons why this is my favorite Mega Man game!

Plug ball is the upgraded search snake, not bubble lead. Bubble lead goes on the ground, search snake goes on the ground and wall, plug ball goes on the ground wall and ceiling.

I'm not here to say "WRONG!!!1!1!!11 MARIO IS TEH BESST EVAR!!1!1!", but I love both themes. They each bring vastly different flavors to badass video game soundtracks. That said, Mega Man 9's music is phenomenal. This game's opening Wily theme is up there with Mega Man 2's and Galaxy Man's theme can stay trapped in my head for hours.

creator is actually music enthusiast; its his passion. that's why almost all megaman themes are beautiful. just check the character names. megaman's original Japanese name is rockman and his sister roll rock n roll rush and beat treble and bass they were all music related terms.

Galaxy Man’s weakness to Concrete Shot is a little hard for me to explain. Here are my theories. 1) A firmly adhered blob of concrete wouldn’t likely be able to be sucked into a vacuum because it is stuck to a solid surface. 2) A solid chunk of concrete that is launched as a projectile can damage a spaceship similar to a meteor in space.

The stage is a lot of fun with space gimmicks, definitely unique. His weapon is the Gravity Well/Bug Hole from X3 done right. his design also is great. 10/10!

I like how it’s mostly just a bit of fun platforming and its pretty easy to beat him with the Mega Buster and Jewel Man is weak to his weapon making him an optimal first stage to beat in a run kinda wish they did more with the teleporters though

+Lunasa Prismriver I disagree. MM9 is the hardest classic MM game in my opinion My hardest to easiest ranking would be MM9 > MM1 > MM7 > MM8 > MM6 > MM3 > MM5 > MM4 > MM10 > MM2 The X Series is generally a little bit harder then the classic series imo

+TheBLBShow No. Have you ever played MEGA MAN & BASS. THAT GAME IS FUCKING HARD. This game is a fart in the wind. Its much more complicated than THIS. You'll only know into you play the game yourself. The bosses there either: HIT HARD, HAVE ANNOYING AF STRATEGIES, ARE A HANDFUL TO DODGE or have a combinations of the first three things I mentioned. Remember how in previous Mega Man games you could take down any robot master with your normal weapon to get yourself going. Let me tell you this: In Mega Man & Bass taking on any robot master with your normal weapon is a GODDAMN DEATH WISH.

Kiritsune I found Crash Man easiest in Mega Man 2. He's the only Robot Master in the series I've beaten with the basic Mega Buster taking no damage.

It was always bubbleman for me. Weakess or not, Unless you wanna bring up metal man. You know you're a bad ass when your own power kills you in a single hit.

Kiritsune Oh yeah lol. Just another reason why Metal Blade is OP.

When I got Mega Man 2, I actually figured out that Metal Blade was the game breaker, so I always made a point to go to Metal Man's stage first. So basically, I'll probably never forget how to beat Metal Man without taking any damage.
