Forever Zero well we got the classic collection out and later this year we are getting the X collection, so the Zero and ZX collection,may cone out eventually as well

Just played through this game for the first time this past week. Learned from this run i unknowingly did 6 of the bosses on hard weather.

That use of the Gangagun's weapon in Randam Bandam's stage was really clever! Zero 4 keeps surprising me whenever someone discovers some kind of new speedrunning utility for the Z-knuckle. It really is a mechanic that just keeps on giving.

I thought the same thing, I have played this game for over 15+ years and never knew about the Ganga Gun trick, this is the best part of speedrunning. Learning new and creative ways that your favorite games can be tackled _casually_

"Dr. Whale" "Dr. Wheel" His name is Vile in JP, so it stands to reason it's pronounced "Wile" in US. This is further supported in game by possible connections to Dr. Wily of Megaman's past.

Most inti games in general are underrated imo. Megaman 9 and 10 for example, by far the best classic megaman games but they get hate because 8 bit or why no slide and charge shot for megaman. Even though the games had a lot more freedom thanks to not having those 2 things.

I love MM 10, but I really do miss being able to charge and slide as Megaman. Sure, we have Protoman for that, but he isn't as fun to play thanks to the double knock-back/damage. At least his shield is useful and he's allowed to buy upgrades for the shop in 10.

He doesn't take double knock back in 10 , its only in 9. And honestly I prefer not having charge and slide. Especially charge cause it usually leads to bosses having long eye frames so you are kinda forced in to using it. (especially in megaman and bass). My biggest disappointment with 11 is that it has charge and slide.

I know right. This was one of a couple boss fights that I had trouble with cuz it was hardly EVER letting me attack which was SO upsetting.

I wish this game was on Steam, had a lot of fun with it when I was young. Capcom should re-release the rest of the Megaman games onto Steam, Megaman ZX included.

I just got to craft with no parts/chips as I didn't research the game before hand lol after 30+ deaths I managed to get by him. Regular chrg slash/fire buster shot Amazing speedrun!

Making good use of those weapons when its needed. Sometimes you don't need to kill an enemy. You just need to disable it.

Damage stacking deals damage per frame. And some minibosses have no sThat's why minibosses die so fast.

This game's easy except Craft is a huge bottleneck and you can't even revisit previous stages to power up between attempts.

unless you got perfect rng they wouldn't save much time in rta. tas gets them because they can manipulate drops and play perfectly, but in rta, because you take double damage, you're going to have to be way more careful with how you play. the time you'd potentially save on bosses wouldn't really help that much if you don't get good drops.

According to the dev team, it was only supposed to go to 3, but Capcom was like "make us a 4th game because money" so they made the 4th game the actual series' ending.

Its either a Gamcube with GBA player or Wii U Virtual console. Both have third party adapters so you can use SNES controller.

Agreed! Zero 4 is my favorite Mega Man game of all time, and unfortunately, nothing after really did it for me. ZX and 11 are good but not nearly as fun to me.

3 is the overall best IMO 'cause Zero knuckle is just poorly executed unfortunately, along with the goofy weather system messing with ranks. Also the gameplay, story, & music were goated in 3 (not that I dislike 4 though, still a great game). ZX and ZXA I've heard mixed things about. ZX actually had positive reception and sold but ZXA didn't and I wonder why since I haven't played them yet.
