This is a huge video for the coral reef fans at BTUFF. I found a couple things that were wrong. I also give some tips on PH and talk about some unreal corals I picked up. The coral tank is exploding with color like never before. I also picked up an Apex Jr to monitor the reef when I'm not here. I'm not usually one to get corals online but I picked some up from High-Voltage Corals and CoralLife and I'll show you those. If you want more reef content let us know. sub and like for more. I forgot to mention that I have moon lights hooked up to the Apex. Pretty cool. It mimics the moon cycles.

Red monti of blocking flow from your power head behind it. May wanna move power head to side wall pointing to your torches to get more flow they will love it 💯

Running carbon? Close proximity of leathers, toadstools and sinularia to LPS like torches etc, you will have to keep us up to date long run.

The excitement I got when I saw you posted a new video is real!! 🥳🥳😅 love this video , my dkh is at 11 right now and everything seems to be thriving but I’m testing is API deff need to pick up a Hanna 🧐 Petco had great deals sometimes especially when there’s ppl working who don’t know what their called 😅 I got a maroon clown for $15 and that little guy is the meanest in the tank he does not like my hands in there and he’s sooooo tiny I already know I’m gonna have problems with him . QUESTION: how long did it take your fish to recover from ich using ginger ? I’ve had a scopas and sailfin tang for a month now treating with ginger and they get better then it comes back they still eat like crazy they are just really rough to the touch like sand paper almost I’m wondering if it takes awhile

Within a few days you should see improvement. If you smash it into clumps and the fish eat the clumps they will do even better. One of the black clowns had a couple specs. I dumped a pinch in for three days. All is gone.

Thanks man , I think my tangs are just taking awhile to brush it off I almost thought they were too far gone but they still there eating away , I do add it to the food cus I feel they eat it more when I dump the food in but ima try adding it alone. They really just look ugly like rough but they are eating like crazy so I’m hoping for the best

The clowns aren’t really bickering they’re deciding which one becomes the female….. the dominant one will turn into female and get bigger so it’s good news you’re gonna have clownfish eggs soon but growing them after they hatch is gonna be a pain and your tank looks awesome btw 😊

Honestly man you’re able to grow LPS and SPS with a relatively lazy method that’s dope. Bali slimer is a species of Acropora so you’re growing Acropora without testing calcium or magnesium lol. You’re doing a good thing bc I think a lot of ppl stay away from the hobby or leave the hobby bc it’s too much work or perceived as that

Quick question, what setting do you run your lights at. I’ve been running my lights at 60% intensity but I feel it’s not the best.

9-1 blue 80 white 0. - 1-5pm 80 blue 20 white. - 5-9pm 80 blue zero white

Do you give them just blue light or do you add white too?

I do about 5 hours of white. The White will grow everything faster but I don't have much room. I use to have a white only tank and everything grew crazy. If you want the color, blue, if you want the growth, white.
