I’m not blaming the victims at all! The problem is especially in the black church is you have single mothers going to the church worshiping the pastor like he/she is God! Theses women always screaming “my passa my bishop” then let these pastors be alone with their children! It’s the “parent” fault some of the time. Notice I did not say “parents”! If you are black you definitely know what I’m talking about! It’s sad 😢 but this ain’t nothing new!

@@juliangriffiths9583 I get what they mean. The black community is a lot harsher on LGBTQ and are really religious oftentimes, so it'd be harder for them to come out because they'd be putting a huge target on their head, physically and metaphorically. Many white parents or family would disown a family after this too though, so it's not as big of a difference as some may try to make it out to be.

This. And definitely not on camera. The fact that this family has endured this trauma and abuse and survived…brings tears to my eyes. There is a special place in hell for those in positions of leadership in the church who abuse their members. I hope he enjoys eternity there.

So much respect to that young man for coming out about his story. As a man who has been raped myself, it's incredibly important and necessary that us men are transparent about abuse so that we can help stop it, as well as spread awareness and support for victims of sexual abuse as a whole. There's no shame in speaking about the trauma that you endured, and you aren't weak because it happened. As men we often feel pressure to push this down, because many people don't take male sexual abuse seriously. If you're a victim of sexual abuse, please reach out. I promise you're not alone.❤

I have so much love for all victims of abuse, but especially men who remain soft and STRONG AF in the face of what a monster tried to take away from us. That is OUR POWER. And I appreciate a man for taking that step and being vocal about it, too. I wish more men took part in the me too movement. When someone is faced with abuse like that, the best thing we can do is to not only heal and survive, but to THRIVE in the face of the most intimate betrayal. Thank you thank you thank you, for being a voice for so many others who might not feel ready to speak and encouraging them to do so to start the path of healing and to call this out for what it is. ❤❤

My boyfriend was sexually molested by his probation officer. He told his mother about what happened and she ignored it. He told her he wasn’t going back and that horrible probation officer apparently made his probation go away. The police department seems to have amazingly lost all of his old paperwork from the 1970’s. He was 14 years old, setup to take a fall for having MJ in his possession. He was stopped by the police in a southern town, and without any reason to do a search of his car, they did a search and seizure. All of this was illegal but he didn’t know this. His mother and stepfather apparently didn’t care and allowed his initial rights to be abused and then wrote off the sexual misconduct to be written off. My boyfriend still has PTSD that occurs. And where’s that old probation officer now? He was murdered. Unsolved until this day. Probably by either a victim of the abuse (only good news is that my boyfriend wasn’t raped), or a relative of the victim of abuse. And all of it was swept under the rug.

A very common pattern here: predators are lied and covered up for, by wives & elders, who either don't deal with them, or don't do it properly. The victims tend to be ignored or neglected, & if they keep speaking about it, they're treated like the enemy, while everyone, including friends, often, turns their backs on them. It's called all kinds, including protecting the system, & failing the victim. This could be why he's still preaching, or he might just have good connections with other preachers. Maybe try reading Jeremiah 23 & Ezekiel 34, I found this helped make some sense of the bad 'shepherds' we have today.

Right? And the woman that come out and say "Ive been groomed" are made out to look at liars and or "too emotional" and wow only 16 years old this woman was. And society just acts like this is okay. It's pathetic to how I've found so many crappy men on dating websites who build my trust then ask me for "nude photos" one got mad at me when I wouldn't send them any. Two men from AA event tried to get me to join their weirdo porn cult at their home he said he was studying to become a "pastor" even dressed nice. If I ever see him again I'm going to throw hot coffee in his face and kick him in the nards. Woman aren't messing around anymore and men shouldn't have to put up with the abuse of getting raped by other men or groomed by woman either it's not okay. It goes both ways and we need to start talking about the men that have been abused to instead of making them feel like they don't have a voice.

She was dropping it and everything outlandish. Pastor Rush came out when she was done and told us (the audience) we need to cheer her and root for her. He told her to go back on stage and dance some more. As she was dancing, he was dancing off to the side and in the microphone was saying “this our next dancer, our next video vixen”. You can't tell a person's character until circumstances arise where it can be tested. These kinds of characters are really manipulative and tricky and shockingly calculated. Preacher, Pastor, Minister, Deacon, Rabbi, Imam... because they spew lies by default (and even followers of certain sects know at least 99% of them do preach something other than they believe to be true), these people should no longer be met with reverence. In my household we view these people as liars, grifters and potential assailants. If you assume a position of a liar, the judicial rules should flip to "GUILTY until proven INNOCENT". If you want to appear innocent then you should leave these positions of power in organized religions. We need to stop having organized religious buildings where we leave our children with strangers who injected themselves into our lives by piggybacking religions bullshit. This is still a stranger! His whole job is to memorize lies and regurgitate them. Do not leave your kids alone with them! The son's quote resonates with me "My mom is like a free spirit, but I feel like religion had handcuffs on her". This is true, and predators who know you are bound to the church will take advantage of your being in shackles.

So many of these perpetrators have avoided being brought to account and dealt. But one thing is certain - we will all have to stand before God one day - including them - and they won't be able to lie or make excuses. One of the hardest things to do is to let God take over, when you've done all you can if you, a loved one or friend has been abused like this, and forgiveness can't be rushed, or forced. But I know, from personal experience, that God DOES deal with such people, whatever the abuse was. It just doesn't usually happen when we expect or want. No one gets away with anything where God is concerned. And - thank you for mentioning at the end of this video, the advice for children: "No! Don't touch me!" I will try to say this if a previous pastor-predator tries anything on with me again if ever I see him. God bless you all 🙏❤️

That's where's the right differentiates from the left. Leftists will defend these people if they have a rainbow flag.

(JustMyOpinion #JMO ) They “her and her sister” were fast and sleeping around now they want to speak out okay. She was 16 and pregnant. Her and her sister fell out over him because both wanted him. Then, so you expect me to believe that she ain’t no none of that was going on with her son, and she only found out about it when he was a grown man in prison he said he had bruises all along his back, but the first time she found out about it is when he was a grown man in prison get out of here she was in a relationship with that dude. It seems like she got her son to say that because her and her sister case was too old to prosecute. JUST MY OPINION #JMO Exactly what am saying that’s why her and her sister fell out because they both wanted him. And how you don’t see bruises on your son because if it happened with her son was 13 she hurt him when she was 16 she was 30 or 29 when that happened to her son how did you not see those bruises on him so he was sexually abusing you for over 13 years and then start abusing your son and you never reported none of this to the police the story sounds out of place and where was her mom and her dad where was her sister’s mom and her sisters dad where was her son dad when all of this was going on it sounds like she was young as she was in a relationship with the older dude, I understand according to the law that is seen as raping a under age girl, but I think the sexual relationship was consensual if she was just young and that’s what the case is and she’s mad that he’s not dealing with her no more because she’s too old and he likes younger women

Seeing how happy the mom was when her son was released brought tears to my eyes. I am praying this marks not only the release from physical incarceration but any spiritual incarceration this young man, his mom, aunt and all those others who this “pastor” allegedly abused. This is horrific and this is not of the spirit of God. I pray for healing for the congregation.

It's sickening to keep hearing the same stories about abuse in places that are meant for safety. Churches imo should have much more staff accountability, even for their senior pastors. No windowless doors. Install glass walls for every single office to show true transparency of what goes behind those doors.

Maybe through God who is the ultimate judge if this PREDATOR does not REPENT from his SIN. As for the courts the stature of limitations has passed in Dallas. Had that happened in New York, he would be in prison. He sexual abused an entire family of sisters including a future/next generation; one of the sister's son. Kudos to that young man who spoke up and out‼

This happens way more often within black churches and the community in general than people think and the grown folks are aware of this abuse of children, however, there is a tendency for secrecy in the community. Blind faith has also played a role in this. The unquestioning trust and belief in religious leaders have allowed the abuse to persist. It's a shame, really.

@@unmermaid I don't know that it's Catholic clergy especially. Anywhere there are children and vulnerable parents who put their trust and faith in "respected" community figures are at risk for this. It's not even exclusive to religious "clubs"/churches. They had to close down the Boy Scouts because of child abuse. That said, the Catholic church did have a culture of covering up child abuse for centuries and that was made very public in recent years but unfortunately, child abuse is as old as humanity and is fairly ubiquitous across all types of people.

Saw the documentary FBI VS MLK. Watch it surprised. From India, I was surprised that MLK's friends were so comfortable with his womanising. The friend of MLK, in whose house, all the meetings were arranged was bugged by the FBI and used to blackmail MLK by Hoover. While any other person would have been okay, I was surprised that MLK being the son of a pastor, himself a pastor and married did such things and his friends openly supported him. MLK stands for MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. At the end of the documentary, that friend openly says that it was true BUT there was nothing wrong with it. Then, if nothing was wrong with it, then why was MLK embarassed by it? HYPOCRISY.
