Preston! Megadeth is the state of the art speedmetal! Dave Mustaine's voice is an acquired taste. Tornado of souls, sweating bullets... Megadeth 🤘

It definitely is an acquired taste. When I first started listening to them, I love everything, except Dave's voice. I decided to keep pushing through and eventually I grew to like it. They quickly became my favorite band. They are the complete package IMO. Lyrics, monster riffs and solos, and some amazing drumming!

+DrizzlyEarth Megadeth still stay true to the core component of speed metal within thrash, and they evolve that concept and push the envelope creatively more than anyone else. While Metallica went on to infuse NWOBHM elements in Master Of Puppets and ..And Justice For All, Mustaine retained and evolved the speedy riff oriented, progressive approach to song writing, broke its limits in *Killing is My Business* , matured its vibe in *Peace Sells* , expanded its breadth in *So Far So Good So What* and unleashed its full creative potential in *Rust In Peace* .

If you want something more mellow from Megadeth I recommend: "Trust" Time the end" and "A tout le monde". If you want some in the same style I recommend: "Tornado of Souls" and " Hangar 18"

one of the things you have to appreciate about metal are the hard stops. listen to how clean and clear the flashes of silence are. Thats people with instruments all in sync... no computers, no programs, no loops. 4 guys with with instruments coming to a complete stop and starting again in PERFECT sync in a flash of a second. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
