Thinking of picking up a js Kelly are they well made? Dont have a lot of money to work with and looking for something that is metal oriented with decent pickups but nice low action all up the neck that intonates easily stays in tune and no like sharp fret ends etc

@@JokerTheAnarchist Mine came in today and it's jacked up. Action seems high higher up no mattet what I do the nut is wildly misplaced and the output jack is finicky. I got it used from a different state so I'm thinking maybe it needs time to adjust to the climate difference?

@@JokerTheAnarchist Also are the pickups on yours very dark sounding and bassy to the point where you have to conpletely adjust your tone to compensate? I have the exact same model as you

@@Ayyem93 i bought it new, and never did anything with it, it just sounds like this out of the box

@@JokerTheAnarchist that's odd. Obviously our amps are gonna sound different from each other but when I got my Kelly today I played for a while after setting it up and with the same settings on my amp which my other guitar sounds nice and thrashy with prominent mids and treble the Kelly sounded very dark bassy and low mids and treble. Both guitars have the stock pickups but the Kelly is just dark and bassy, yet yours doesn't seem to sound that way and it's the same guitar.
