This is a drum cover I did from Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth from the album Countdown to Extinction. The backing track is from www.jammit.com and all recording and editing done by myself. I hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions, let me know!

+Eric Masters Thanks! It was the first time I used multiple mics! I took some cheap vocal mics for the floor toms and a tom-mic for the snare and no overheads. The bassdrum was triggered, that helped a lot!

I like the idea of a floor Tom on your left. My double bass is set up with 2 floor toms on the right and I'm changing that as Soon as I get home. Great cover btw

Hi man Great cover, I'd like to make you a question, are you listening the drumless track by the in ears in order to record only the drums and then you when editing you match the video recording with the drumless track? THANKS for your response

Hey! Thanks! So then I used an app called Jammit (that is unfortunately no longer available...) that had 3 stems, one with a click, one with the drums and one with the rest of the instruments and vocals. I exported all 3 of them to Cubase and played (and recorded myself) along with the backing track. And since everything is so tight on click, it was easy to sync it all back up with the 3 camera's I used. Does this answer your question?
