Thank you for not trying to jam the entire film into 2 minutes of jump cuts.

This is the first trailer I see in 2024 that got my attention. Adam Driver and Francis Ford Coppola. This will be great.

What a novel idea: let a single partial scene that gives a taste of the film spark interest, but otherwise leave us without much of anything else that, in knowing, would take away from the eventual movie viewing experience. This should be done more often - count me fully interested!

Art can't be snuffed out! We need it! Being denied it for a time only makes us want it more when we finally see it again.

I hope Francis gets a distributor. This deserves to be in theaters.

That was one of the most fear-of-heights inducing things I've ever seen.

The cast alone gives you goosebumps: Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Jason Schwartzman, Talia Shire, Grace VanderWaal, Laurence Fishburne, Kathryn Hunter, and Dustin Hoffman!

Even the fkn 15 seconds of music sounds more atmospheric and memorable then 95% of full movies.

Always something special from Francis Ford Coppola.

I have to say, the trailer did spark my interest. I literally thought he was gonna just and then he stopped time with just a snap of his fingers. That had me going woah! So yeah, big fan of Adam and seeing more about this film. I’ve always found that the films you know next to nothing about end up turning out to be more enjoyable than you thought.

I can understand why some of you would feel that this preview doesn’t peak your interest, with that being said, with just the short one scene showing some type of super natural element, the actor who is in the scene, and most importantly of all you see that this is a film that has Francis Ford Coppola behind. With these 3 different elements all converging together is what really peaks my interest.

Now this is a trailer. No spoiling the entire story and makeing me actually interested in seeimg the movie.

Coppola is the walking embodiment of the sentiment "should have quit while you were ahead."

The racing clouds reminds me of his classic RUMBLE FISH ('83).

Can't lie just looking at this made me hold my breath, I'm excited to see something different and new. With this legendary Director I'm interested in seeing this art. I'm seeing mixed reviews yet I want to see it myself and see what I walk away with.

I know this has been regarded as one of the 'greatest movies never made' forever, so happy to see it finally see it realized, Coppola has always said this would be his masterpiece.

Considering most movie trailers these days, show most of the movie in 2.50min, this was old style,that leaves you guessing, like it a lot!

This is the first 2024 trailer that catches my eye. Driver Adam and Coppola Francis Ford. This is going to be fantastic.

Adam Driver acting on this scene is amazing. His eyes, reactions, fear. We can see everything going through his mind. Also the sound effects, music, create an absolutely powerful scene. Its been a really long time i feel this interested in a movie.

Design of the Towers is very reminiscent of Metropolis, by Fritz Lang

The danger of having the ability to stop time is the next time when you really need to stop time, it does not stop. Conversely, the next snap of your finger may not resume the flow of time. So how much risk are you willing to take? To not have time save you from danger and death or having to spend an eternity with nothing changes. At least with 3 wishes, you know exactly your limit.

As a huge fan of trailers this was refreshing, very rarely done. Last time I've seen a trailer done like this was the 80s.

I like the part where he yells "time stop!" in a very strange way so that the audience of complete slathering worms understand what happened when we see the clouds stop moving and the cars stop moving. I think that's the most elegant and artistic way to communicate something surreal to an audience: just have a character awkwardly yell a non-grammatic sentence fragment that spells it out for us so we can roll our tongues back up, tuck them in our mouths change out our bib to a dry one and understand the rest of the movie while we pick earwax with our fingers in our greasy seats.

I'm rarely excited for new movies coming out. Can't wait for this one. Thank you for not cramming the entire movie premise into the trailer!

Why is Adam Driver in everything? He's box office poison!

Why would stopping time prevent him from falling when he is still moving normally and hence affected by gravity? 🤔

FFC knows how to build tension with great dramatic shots. Some amazing work!

Fun fact: (well not really a “Fun”) they first started filming this movie back in 2001 but it was scrapped after the 9/11 attacks cuz one scene predicted the attacks

This is what a trailer should be. Just give a little taste and leave the rest of the movie to be seen. So many trailers show the whole movie you already know the entire plot.

So, from this trailer one could imagine that the character is in a dream, or an alternate reality. Or he is discovering he is a superhero, an alien, that he is a God of some sort. I believe that this "International Trailer" is a good tease, but a snippet of other scenes in a full trailer will be needed to show us if there is more for us to be invested in. They don't need to give away too much but at least give us an idea of what we would be stepping into. An example of this is the recent series on AppleTV called Sugar. It stars Colin Farrell, Amy Ryan, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and James Cromwell. I saw the trailer and thought, "Cool! A noire detective series with Colin Farrell." It didn't give away much at all. Detective hired to find missing daughter of wealthy Hollywood producer. I start watching the series and it has a really different feel to it. There is the central mystery and yet there's also another mystery of the central character. Then WOOOSH! the genre flips us on our head.

Coppola sold his vineyard and fully financed the 120 million of this project himself and had to fight to find distribution despite being who he is because major studios feel we only want to see brainless content or superhero regurgitation and anything else isn't worth funding/distributing to us.

Adam Driver has been choosing the movies he's in carefully. And so far for better and worst he's succeeded in leaving his mark.

That's all I needed to see.

The best part is that this wasn't two minutes of some FPV drone shot.

All I know is that Francis Ford Coppola had a difficult time producing this movie. causing extreme psychological distress to him. We already know that it will be among the all-time greats.
