I agree!! I was thinking Megami likes Ayano and she takes advantage of that - of course since Ayano doesn't care about anyone except Taro, she could use it to her advantage. If she were to accept the confession, Megami's guard would be totally let down around her because she thinks she changed Ayano and made her feel emotion.

And Ayano would be vastly disgusted at Megami's affection but she'd pretend to show feelings back, seething under the surface. Until very soon after, Ayano's bloodthirsty rage comes to enact bloody murder on Megami out of sheer disgust during her moment of vulnerability. I can see that kind of malicious scenario act out.

This cutscene can only happen if Ayano doesn't kill anyone and joins the student council, giving Megami no reason to be suspicious of her and having her around as a member of the council makes them spend some time together. Yandev already said Ayano's personality will be defined by the player's choices. So the Ayano Megami would confess her feelings for isn't a bloodthirsty Ayano. In this scenario Megami isn't a rival anymore and Ayano accepting her confession itself is the elimination method. About the killing out of disgust thing, Ayano believes she's in love with Taro because he makes her feel emotions. It doesn't seem to be something to do with her sexuality. Ayano's problem is that she can't feel anything but indifference to most things in life and it's even mentioned that after meeting Taro she could actually taste food like we do and before that she only ate enough to maintain a healthy appearance. I don't think she would be disgusted by Megami, but simply be indifferent. The Pacifist Ayano is manipulative, cunning and scheming. I believe she would be able to convince Megami that Taro is the only one who makes her feel alive so Megami decides to at least keep him around to "cure" Ayano. Megami is intelligent enough to know Ayano didn't have a choice to be born this way and not allowing her to have Taro is depriving her from feeling alive which would make them enemies again. Megami is highly logical too so even if this decision bothers her, as the heiress of Saikou Corp who is used to making difficult decisions, she would think of it as a small sacrifice. Megami gives Ayano the world and Ayano gives Taro the world. Pacifist Ayano knows better than killing the heiress of Saikou Corp. Also it is said that when the Aishis spend some time with Senpai, they learn to feel emotions by themselves even away from them. After some years Ayano can maybe develop genuine feelings of friendship, love and care for Megami too. The aftermath of this cutscene would be way more interesting than the whole game.

You know I always thought about it , and it seriously makes a conceptual sense. What I thought is that Megami will rather fall for Ayano is the end because of her clever and manipulative tactics when she finally defeats Megami and manipulates Taro or so cause by far Megami was so difficult to eliminate , I think Megami will accept her defeat and give in actually falling for ayano , I refuse to believe Megami actually loves Taro , I feel like Megami is rather using and guarding Taro just cause she wants to eliminate Ayano knowing she is a dangerous person and so was her mother , just the way in the Yan Sim fandom several Ship Ryoba and Mr Saiko (sorry for any grammatical or spelling errors)

@@ShiorikoDesu I personally have Theory that she doesn't actually love Taro( because I personally believe him to be one of those blane characters in the entire game despite being literally the protagonist objective) himself but what she's obsessed with is the feeling that she got because he's the first person to ever interact with her (that's not part of her family) so the idea that interacting ( Beyond just short talks manipulation) with somebody else make change her mind that's all but she's in love with is the feeling not the person itself but this is all just a theory of my own

This is just my opinion, but considering what I've learned from her story, I think it would be interesting if Megami's dark secret was that she is a lesbian. Think about it, a cold grandfather and father who only see her as a tool to continue the family legacy, a brother who is jealous of her to the point of wishing her dead, boys like Kaga Kusha who only get close to her because of her name. and power of her family. In her entire life, Megami has never been close to a decent male figure, so it's no surprise that she doesn't have good relationships with men and is using Taro to take down Ayano. And going deeper into this matter, it would be an extremely interesting secret that the heiress of the most powerful company in Japan is a lesbian... A secret that Megami would hide.

This is a really cute ship, but the fact that Ayano is literally obsessed with Taro just makes it nearly impossible for her to suddenly change her affection towards another person. Besides, Megami knows that Ayano has something to do with murders, framing, etc. So I don't think it would be a canon thing in the game. Still a very nice concept! Honestly, I would love to see this in the game, maybe in another universe or something?

I feel like in the main game's timeline, Ayano probably wouldn't accept it, but YandereDev himself said that the game takes place in many timelines, and though this may not be in the main timeline, I bet you there's a timeline where Ayano will ditch Taro for Megami. And no, it's not a -8/10 chance of happening. Because of what I just said, it has a 10/10 chance of being canon, but just not taking place in the main timeline. This is really well done, too. Shoot for the moon! Even if you don't make it, you'll land among the stars ❤❤

I feel like she would accept the confession, but given her personality, Ayano would only be using Megami and ultimately betray her in the end by killing her off due to her immense love for Taro. It's still a cute ship concept though, and I kind of want to see this in the game lol

If this was an elimination method there should be too endings for it 1. You end up with the rival, it will be pretty cute and it would provide an adorable ending of Ayano and (rival name) adopting a kid/getting a cat 2. Rejection, the rival will be heartbroken, idk what else to say

i dont think ayano would accept her confession, after all, as said in the starting cutscene, Taro was Ayano's first love and she wouldnt let anyone be with him besides her, and she has very deep feelings for Taro so yeah overall conclusion confession is denied, but still i think it would make a cute mod that in the end if ayano had stayed inthe colorless void OR still fell inlove with Taro BUT developed small feelings for megami and not noticing then, after megami's confession she would be able to choose wether to tell her she denies it, or accepts. (i did not expect this from me either)
