It would’ve been better if he was always trying to get into the villian organization (when he was evil) but then when they caught wind of the button of doom incident, they would go over to megamind and ask him to join the team, and while they’re destroying the city, he has to find someone who’s actually capable of helping him (MetroMan), inwhich the person he asks (MetroMan) helps him by informing other heroes about where the villians were the past week and then blah blah fighting scene practically avengers

This undermines everything megamind went through and learned in the first film. Instead of a sequel that can show us megamind, struggling to navigate a world in which he is relied on and has so many expectations of him to be a perfect hero like metroman was. HAHAHAHA FUNNY JOKES HAHAHAHA. Some girl who’s probably going to be annoying and/or irrelevant to the actual plot. Some cliche looking villain group with 1 dimensional personalities the writers farted out as an excuse for an antagonist… Tbh I think it could be interesting if there wasn’t actually a ‘villain’ in the story and the real ‘villain’ could be peoples unreasonable expectations for someone to be a carbon copy of a role previously filled by someone else. Megamind means well but is pretty naïve and tries his best at his new job but starts to actually out people in more danger through his wacky ideas and inventions that are meant to try and save people. Idk man I’m not a writer 💩
