MEGAN DOES PATTAYA - Did you know Pattaya has an International airport?

Handy if you are going on a trip to Russia, Dubai, Kuala-Lumpur, or some domestic destinations. That's It. It's good if you want to make a weekend trip to Koh Samui or Phuket.

Emirates have one-stop flights from London and Dublin...saves a lot of hassle during peak season

Try the restaurant at the end of the runway, they have an old dc3 you can stay in! It's called EOD , look on Google maps..... Cool seeing the aircraft coming in and taking off.... But not many actually do nowadays!!!

They plan to expand this airport but I don't know why. It has to be one of the world's most under utilised airports. Pattaya ultralight airpark has 10x the traffic of U-Tapao 🤣

Because once they expand it and offer more flights at more reasonable fares then it would be an absolute no brainer for someone living in pattaya to go to suvarnabhumi…that’s why.

It is still a 45 minute drive to Pattaya. Marginally closer than Bangkok but then Rayong is not Bangkok. Utapao will not really be an international airport without more flights. The best marketing plan would be to group tours from India.

from the east of pattaya its under 30 mins, comfy drive. certainly international already but yes needs more route. watch it expand tho
