The amount of transparency you have is perfect for you and your family. Individuals need to stop believing that they are entitled to more insight into your family’s life. Please continue vlogging the way you see fit. Even though I am not a mom (yet 🙏🏾), I enjoy the vlogs

People like us with ADHD often experience Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), which means we can be extremely sensitive to perceived criticism or rejection. It can be really tough, but understanding this connection has helped me a lot. I thought it might be helpful for you too. 😊

You actually introduced me to the more gentle parenting style of parenting and I am very thankful for that. I saw raised on the physical punishment road and was so lost how I was gonna raise my little one, and I was so lost. Now because of how I've been parenting I've been told how she is the happiest toddler they've seen and how nice and kind she is, so I thank you for helping me break the generational trauma.

Megan I’m right there with you about church stuff. I stopped going to church in 2020 also. I’m trying so hard to get back to being committed to my relationship with God on a daily basis. And really struggling with sharing my faith with my 3 year old. It’s not easy out here!

I gotta say, from an internet stranger? Super proud of you for going on camera and “showing yourself”! As a fellow sensitive little baby, I can understand how hard it probably was! And will say as a fellow Seattle I5 corridor mom, your content makes me super happy. It’s hard to find mom friends that vibe. A Nerdy Cheers to you! 🎲 🧙‍♀️🥂

Being a parent is a wild and overwhelming ride with little patches of beauty. And you are doing amazing! Judgment is so easy and I am so sorry people feel entitled to simply press send to verbal vomit. You are taking time during the day to create these videos and it is a lot. Thank you!!!

You are truly the best channel on YT, I will follow you in 10 years and more! 😇Even when you are posting videos that you talk about difficult stuff, I feel with you, but most of all, I'm enjoying them as well as all the other themed videos you do, because you always have the aesthetics and the way you talk to us and yourself that goes straight into my heart! Hugs all the way from Stockholm, to you and your family! 💖

So relate to the religion question..it’s hard to know what to do once kids come into the picture. Also keep up the honest discussion; it’s why I keep up coming back to your channel, not because you’re a mom.

Love your chanel Megan Ive been a viewer since 2019 , I also have a 2 & 4 yo. What u experienced in the evangelical church In a nut shell it was probably spiritual abuse and it happens so much, Ive experienced it myself but know that the misrepresentation didnt come from God but from people and people suck sometimes, What helped me heal from all of that was this Podcast & youtube channel called Be Emboldened it was created for people who have experienced spiritual trauma, Ive found so much healing through them just listening to the stories. Hope it can be a good start for u someday.

I love how u are so honest. I have probably nearly 15-20 years on u and i can still relate and love your channel. I feel like my mum role has suddenly changed with my youngest entering teenhood, its scary and im finding it hard, like they dont need me anymore. I love watching your kids remembering what life was like, feels like yesterday. Its funny how u would get nervous to meet us, its easy to forget we are all human, u seem celebrity to me😂 Ive never been religious, i learnt it growing up but it never felt right to me. I have talked about the basics to my kids but its not a part of our life and im totally ok with it. Religion seems alot bigger in the US than Australia.

I didn’t contribute to the assumptions but 10/10 resonated w the faith/church assumption. Same boat over here (esp the struggle w how to raise kids) and that exvangelical church trauma is so real and I feel like we all can spot each other from miles away. Big love and solidarity ❤

Loved hearing you speak a little on faith! I always try to remember “religion” is what killed Jesus, people in & out of church will fall short and can be hurtful but that’s not Gods heart for us. He’s full of grace, mercy, love, hope and promise! The Bible recap Bible study on Amazon helped me with my personal relationship SO much, highly Recommend that book to read aside with Bible to understand Gods compassion for us! ❤

Hello! Fellow religious trauma survivor here (although I have a hard time with the tittle as I believe I didn't have it as bad as others lol).. it is so complicated to understand, to accept the need for faith and then to explain to people (if you choose too).. I'm always responding, I have a deep understanding of God and a private relationship with my own spirituality. Sometimes I miss some aspect of religious life and then i don't.. now with a child I also struggle with what to teach her about religion and spirituality and historical and cultural aspects of it.. we shall see 😊

I too have some religious trauma and it does impact how you navigate afterwards. But the beauty of believing is that it doesn’t need to fit in anyone else’s ideology… we can choose to do it how we see fit. Other people’s opinions don’t matter.

Hi fellow religious trauma survivor, neurospicy friend! Seriously though, it sounds like you came from a similar upbringing in a hyper conservative Christian family. I wouldn’t say that I’m religious anymore, but I am a spiritual person and fully intend to teach my daughter about many different ways of experiencing spirituality without pigeon holing or isolating others from what exists. There are so many things that are positive about different belief systems, but also so many issues, so I’m hoping to give her a balanced representation and make sure she knows that she doesn’t need to subscribe to anything to be spiritual.

I’m almost 37 (birthday is this Sunday 🎉), and the thicker skin will come. There are certain people in my life who feel the need to always throw criticism, has these harsh digs, and just will say outlandish comments. It used to debilitate me for days, weeks, etc… it’s taking my life so far, but it’s happening where I just don’t care anymore. The comments and lash outs still hurt, in a way, but not nearly as bad at all. Prayers for you.
