I’m a 74 year old grandmother of 5. I have found myself watching you and your lovely family when you only had Evoni. I watch because it is so refreshing to see a young lovely couple enjoying their lives together and raising 4 children with God and grace. It gives me hope for humanity in a time when little things do. It’s not to see what you have or don’t have but to see who you are and how you live your life.Josh is so very reasonable and Megan you are a dreamer. What a perfect match. I have such respect for you both. Your children are so lucky and will someday look at you with such admiration for the way you both have raised them. Keep up the good work.

Greetings from the middle of Nebraska! I so enjoyed this video. As I have stated before, Megan you and Josh are wise beyond your years. Josh is so grounded and authentic. He has such a great outlook on life. You both are such a blessing for one another. You support one another and certainly seem to respect and love one another. In our current state of the world, you are both a bright light and every young person should follow your Christian life and marriage encouragement. I am a 66 yr old grandmother to soon to be 7 grandchildren. Each season of life is different and sometimes hard. Growing a great family is one of God's greatest blessing and gift. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and videos!! God bless you guys!!

Be content with what the Lord has already given you & IF HE thinks you need more ( or any upgrades) God will let you know. You have a Beautiful Home that you have and are continuing making your own. Staying OUT of debt is freeing & what Gods wants us to do & is wise. God gave you a husband who CAN do things Megan & God has given You abilities as well. You are an energetic Mom with a happy spirit who loves to cook & better her home- family & life. Just enjoy THIS SEASON. THEY GROW-up so fast & we don’t get a re-do with our children. I have 4 kids. My youngest is now 5 and i promise it gets better. They're all independent and help me out so much. They help each other. Raise them now to do their part and be responsible and it will pay off!

So important to remember to be grateful for our blessings and not get into comparing or feeling less-than, whether that's someone in real life or based on social media. Yes. You lose energy as you age. Yes, even if you’re fit- it’s just part of life that our bodies change, same as kids grow up. It does change though - mine are 16 and 19 and these ages are so fun. Great conversations and seeing them learn independence and getting jobs and choosing career goals. More sleep? No! Now I’m awake waiting for them to get home safe or up early to make hot breakfast before they leave for work. Different than toddlers but also still hard because I can’t fix their worries and hurts as easily as I could when they’re little.

Aww yes seeing ur kids at that age always take me back to my kids when they were small. I gave 2 boys now 21 & 18. Time do fly so I learned to enjoy my kids in all the stages of time.😊

Indiana Girl here! I can't wait to see what you decide to do here! :) I grew up in Southern Indiana (farms, hills, and the Ohio River) and then married and moved north to a little town outside of Indy. Indiana is really pretty and filled with summer fun - enjoy!

Very interesting conversation! “Comparison is the thief of joy.” It can be a horrible side effect of being online. As you suggested, love the stage of life you’re in. I enjoy having coffee on my front deck, reading and listening to birds. I enjoy getting into my comfy bed to watch a movie. If you’re always wanting, feeling like you need more, a perfectly good life will pass you by. ❤

Energy definitely gets less! Agree to "life isn't about having fun." I Think sometimes we can forget that fun is meant to be sprinkled throughout our hard work as relief and encouragement and having fun is not meant to be the main goal.

I love Josh's take on things. He seems so casual and excepting of life and it's ups and downs. I call it ages and stages. Finding the pockets of time and making your relationship a priority. Bedtime routines are a must. those evenings to talk read spend time at the fire or just be in the same room each doing your own thing, quality time . I miss that. We are older and those pockets of time are the best to look back on.

My shy introverted son became a man who works with mentally ill people and runs a whole program, and interacts with people wonderfully. I pushed/encouraged him to go to college out of state and out of his comfort zone. He thrived!

I live in Indiana, near an amusement park who’s advertising slogan used to be There’s More Than Corn In Indiana. Hopefully you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you get here. Some areas have a lot of corn and beans and quaint small towns and our large cities have a lot to see and do also.

Smart move on the laundry system. I spent 1200 on a new washer. It lasted 6 months before the bearings went. When I went to the company for repair, they said no, that wasn't under warranty. Apparently they knew that this was a known problem and they still wouldn't replace it. The washer I was before was fabulous but it was 25 years old and we thought we'd save money on electricity and water. Needless to say they wanted 600 to replace the bearings. I refused to pay it, went out and bought a new washer on sale and never looked back. So far it's been almost 10 years without an issue (fingers crossed). BTW, my old washer is still running, we gave it to someone who didn't have a washer, no regrets there.

Yes, you lose energy. It's not just about sleep. I get more and better sleep now than when my kids were little. I am 52, and my kids are your ages. We just wear down the older we get. Health can play a significant role in that, too.

My husband is not a builder but can do just about any job...so so fortunate..he can cook meals..bake cakes..fix washing machines...sew teddybear clothes & hem his trousers..pickle olives from our tree...fix cars..garden...build sheds...gee, wonder what i do!!!! 3 kids..8 grandies & 50yrs married, we've had a full rich life and struggles too when Graeme was a full time student with 3 little kids & me running a dance school. I dont know how we did it but we wanted it so we did it. Young children ARE hard work and we got there in a flash!! Great gentle video..do more chats together. Time huh?? A day in the life of working Josh..i like seeing mundane stuff ..cleaning out drawers..wardrobes..sheds.. i never had a drier..all clothes got hung outside. Or drapped in the lounge on a clothes hoist, in the winter. No snow here Down-Under. We got a drier when kids were over 16!! I still use it about once every 2 weeks. I grew up learning to save power, mend clothes, save water & eat leftovers..do people still do this...I'm sure my kids dont( they do eat leftovers tho!!! ) Bye..im just rambling on as tv not on so make time to watch you every Fri night around 11 pm

Hi Megan! Long time viewer here…. Have meant for a while to offer some feedback on audio☺️ Maybe it’s just me… since I often have to listen with earbuds… The music segments seem to be MUCH louder… I have to turn audio way down, then up again when you speak Never want to miss a video! but sometimes find myself having to stop the video because of this, if my hands are too busy to keep adjusting volume. You’re awesome! Will keep watching no matter what💚
