Hello and welcome back to my channel.
This video shows my "standard" modification of a MEGASAT DiavoloTwin Gold LNB v3 with NXP chip. While the LNB has a "butterfly oscillator" and needs for best performance a 0° + 180° Phase Signal, it is necessary (easiest mod) to use a balun. All about the balun you see and read in the video.
After the modification don´t forget to put new sealed to the LNB to keep it safe from negativ influences. I do this with high temperatur sealed from our Car store. Not the cheapest but it works perfect. If you need more info about that, write in the comments.

4:06 The BALUN is made on ferrite toroid 4.1mm outer diameter by 2mm inner diameter.
4:34 Ferrite toroid material is 67 with a permeability of 40. Primary and secondary winding are turns each.

7:23 Soldering the BALUN' primary wires. One to ground, one goes to the reference input trough a capacitor.
