The Last Knight design for Megatron is by far the coolest design I’ve seen for any transformer in the live action series. It carries such a menacing presence but also creates a contrast between him and the knightly looking Optimus. It’s almost like how you’d picture King Arthur vs King Mordred.

unlike g1 in Bayverse, Starscream is worthy of at least some respect from Megatron in the games, Megatron even saved Starscream when Jetfire wanted to finish him off

Frank really did great in these scenes! Although raspier and deeper at times, in these he really does sound like TFP Megatron and I love it! I hope we see more of Megatron and Frank in the next movies!

You kinda feel for him, how many times does he have to offer prime peace before prime will stop murdering him over and over again? Imagine dying and being reborn a shitload of times only to be killed by your brother over and over and over again! If it's one thing bayverse Megs never did that he should have, he should have told Optimus he was sorry. But he was too proud and because of that, Optimus never even accepted the chance that Megatron could turn over a new leaf, that there could be peace between bots and cons, and that together they could have actually saved Cybertron without dooming Earth.

Never understood the junkyard with starscream's head scene in TLK. What did Megatron mean by treacherous?🤔 Bayverse starscream was one on the most loyal to to him out of any other version of them

In the tie in comics, he did betray Megatron, and did his own things.I guess those are canon then.

I mean, he did leave Megatron to be killed by the military jets and the all-spark in the first movie, although minutes later he was taking down the jets, he just stopped and flew away. Then there is the theory he shot at Megatron as well which is why the rockets hurt him so badly. Plus he did fly to outer space and immediately went to see Fallen, he took charge of the Decepticons while Megatron was left to rust in the ocean.

I really don't like how Megatron got turned into a lackey in the Bayverse. He was the leader in the first movie, then just became a follower to whoever the big bad was in the next movies.

In Age of Extinction, Megatron did not serve anyone. On the contrary, he manipulated K.S.I. to get the Seed, broke out of their control and led the K.S.I. drones

Optimus bever turned his back on cybertron, he just knew it was wrong to sacrifice another planet with people that had nothing to do with the war in order to save his already dead world. If you ask me thats a selfless hero.

I used to kinda hate the Bayverse portrayals of the characters, but as time went on I kinda fw how Megatron slowly starts to give up and get tired of fighting since TF2. He gets weaker in TF2, literally sits down and chills when cybertron appears in TF3 and in 4-5 he is just annoyed that Prime keeps trying to kill him
