Absolutely. Narcissists are very good at becoming exactly what their targeted person wants. They lovebomb them into believing the narc is the perfect person. The thing is when your body hasn’t yet slowed down it’s own metabolism, and you haven’t yet begun the journey of a disease like degenerative arthritis that eats away at spine and joints or an irregular heart rate, or other health condition, and not yet endured the relentless attack of menopause on your individual body by an upheaval of hormones and the resulting physiological responses, not to mention the special hell if hot flashes; THEN(!)--before all that--it’s easy to sit above all that in judgement of older adults. Because it’s when a person hasn’t begun down those paths that will affect your mobility-until then--you can be smug. It’s only after you hit your 50s and 60s, you realize how foolish you were to be smug about claiming ‘I’ll never _______ when I’m older!’ Hopefully some can benefit from this cautionary tale because despite all your careful planning, healthy lifestyle, and grand pronouncements or promises to yourself; do you know what fate is lurking around the corner into 50s/60s (or what becomes your transitional phase into real aging). Find grace.☮️❤️
