As a professional musician who performs in five languages I can confirm Jazelle is light years beyond anything Mel B could ever conceive.

It's just obvious to me that she's jealous. Jazelle is probably the most talented contestant on the season and for Mel to be disrespectful to her every week is just funny to me.. the only thing she's proving is she's insecure lol

When I saw Jazelle was cast on this show I was so excited to see/hear her. I quite literally couldn’t finish the season bc Mel B’s critiques weren’t constructive and she was very mean and overly judgmental with Jazelle and it definitely was teetering on being transphobic because she reserved her harshest critiques for her meanwhile other contestants on the show didn’t perform or sing as well.

@alvalazura how is it confusing? Mel B said if you're gonna cover Adele, do it better or do your own version. Jazell's cover was not that good, and felt very generic and the same towards the original. She should have done her own version to make it different.

@alvalazuraa version that fit jazell's vocals better, a readaptation so it was HER version of the song. i think she tried too hard to match the original and it didnt come out the best as it could've been. mel b has a harsh tone when critiquing but the critique itself wasnt anything crazy

@@corrine1310an impossible standard to set for any artist. The only people who could do it better than Adele are dead. Adele is in a different league, she wouldn't even set this standard, let alone Mel B who's career peaked in a failed 90s girl Band when everyone was lipsynching live shows anyway.

Why would Mel B be jealous??? Ya'll really can't take any criticism for your favs, she had valid points about the technical aspects of her singing. It was nasally in some parts and she didn't do the Adelle song better than Adelle or make it her own. Jazelle isn't the most talented contestant singing wise, that drag queen already won the first season LOL. Unless they get Gloria Groove to compete in the next season I also don't see another singer who can top her.

Mel b has no merit to critique vocal ability. Also, the Adele critique was a moot point to me. Mel was just looking for something to say.

This clip of Mel being a bitch to Jazelle is the first time I've really heard of Jazelle. So not a fan. She covered the song beautifully (I looked it up). Mel is setting an impossible Standard to sing it better than Adele. There are maybe 2 singers in the world who could do that and they're dead. Ridiculous criticism. It does make her seem jealous or like she has it in for this queen. Maybe Jazelle took the last cup of coffee or something. Idk what it is, but this criticism was completely out of line for the performance that was given.
