Truly, you're one of my favorite guitar players in the world. What is the theory behind substituting the V chord (G) for its relative minor (Em) and turning it into a dominant chord (E7)?

Not gonna claim to know to much about theory but E7 is like a partial B diminished chord. It resolves to c major and a minor.

I'm german and i wanted to ask if anybody too compares her to an "?" but i don't know what "?" = "Geile Sau" in german means... like really sexy. if someone can answer this, you're welcome ;) and above all this...
