she definetely confirmed it, i think whoever draws that card gets hunted, thats why we see in the intro i think? the girls running towards someone/something with weapons in their hands. also the very first scene in the pilot looks like whoever that is is being hunted

ooh yeah! They mention there are no queens in the deck but then I believe Lottie is seen holding all of them. It appears she is going to be the driving influence behind the sacrifices, so it tracks.
