Melatonin is a rhythm heaven-esque game where you're dreaming about many things that make up our typical lives. These dreams are built as rhythmic minigames, where you're trying to do some actions based on some audio cues you get. GO play it's so fun.

I like how night 1 focuses on the dream of having more , in the mashup, it starts off innocent and happy but then as the music speeds up it becomes really disorienting,sickening and too much to handle. Just goes to show that having enough is better than having everything.

So Night 1 is very clearly centered around the things we want, especially in Abundance. Delicious Food, Expensive things, High quality Technology and Popularity, and the levels do great at showing this. Dreaming about Food puts you in a world with tons of Giant Junk Food, where you literally get fed by flying boxes of Food. Dreaming about Shopping puts you in a Clothes Store, where you buy Jewelry, Perfume, Shoes and other expensive items, while showing the tons and tons of Money you have access to on your side of the Screen. Dreaming about Tech puts you in a Room full of the newest Consoles, Gaming set ups, Phones, Computers, with a VR headset and Holograms around you. Dreaming about Followers puts you on top of Large Phones with Logos like Tiktok and KZfaq and Twitch, with comments beside you and your Views constantly going up. And the Final song, Indulgence, illustrates the idea of all these wants amazingly. The song starts of Happy and Joyful, but as it continues, it starts to melt and crumble apart, as everything becomes Nauseating. Its too much to handle, and eventually the song just breaks apart and ends. Honestly it's really well made, its really neat to think about. My personal favorite is Tech, it just sounds so good.

The pattern is first shown on the left side of the screen, and then you repeat the pattern from memory and on the beat as well. It’s one of my favorite levels in the game!
