And my feeling here is even though I consider myself pro Israel, I really don’t think we should fire people, unless they get visibly hostile. Barerra has an opinion and made it clear the Hamas attacks on Israel were awful. That’s good… She’s not an anti semite, doesn’t want anyone to die and we should respect that. Noah Schnapp also doesn’t want people in Palestine to die, but just wants his nation safe. Neither should be fired for their stances, because end of the day, they both back people, just have different mechanisms for it.

Saying that the Israeli lobby has powerful influence in the United States is not antisemitic. AIPAC is literally one of the most financially well-endowed and influential lobbying groups in the US. When people criticized Putin’s actions in Ukraine and called it a genocide, none of his critics were accused of Russophobia and threatened with termination. There is nothing wrong with having a country for an ally, but that shouldn’t mean that we should pledge unconditional support and loyalty for that country at the expense of human rights, free speech, and dignity.

It’s true, say anything about gays or Jews everything gets taken away, they don’t care about what your explanation is or anything. Say something about black people just apologize and we’ll get past it. I think it’s very indicative about who really runs things at the top the fact that you go against any one of those groups and you’re toast. Why do you think people like Harvey Weinstein were doing dirt for over 30yrs and barley got in trouble for it? The ones at the top were protecting him cus he’s one of them. This depends on if she supported Hamas or not. Like what Mia Khalifa, a woman who insulted Islam in p0rn, arguably did. While I think more nuance is necessary in articulating this situation, she literally said what a lot of non-partisan people have said. I take India's approach in this. Support a cease fire and humanitarian aid to Palestinians while understanding Israel's need to fight terrorists. A two state solution as well. Of course, I think Israel's government have been merciless in their strategies and I even hold the opinion that they don't care about their hostages, based on a lot of the stuff that they did. I have no issue with individuals who are pro-Palestine or Pro-Israel as long as they aren't hypocritical with their points and spreading misinformation or trying to do extremist sh*t or glorifying terrorists. Actually, I do have one issue, the lack of room for a two state solution but I digress.
