The Reason Why Melle Mel Losing A Battle to Eminem Was The Worst Thing For Hip Hop. Warren G reacts to Melle Mel's disstrack to Eminem. Melle Mel really stirred up the waters of hip hop when he attacked Eminem with the notion that he is Top 5 because he is white. Eminem responded to him in a diss track and Melle Mel released his diss track in response, which became the biggest joke in recent memory.

🤣, but let me put you up on game. Melly Mel from that generation right?? His diss track was only bad because he spoke about how he would burry Em prior to making it. Once he said that we expected something so col it would of change our whole perspective on Em and agreed with Mel. He did what he know best from his generation it might of been the shit back then, but music has evolved to much since then for him to talk big talk and remain stuck in the 80s. We might of appreciated it more even if we just heard it without him saying all the sh he said prior. We be nodding our heads like ok og oh sh he dissing Em. But because he made us believe his diss would be the greatest sh ever. He failed.

His ego f him up. He should have took his time and get some real outside critiques .Then find a younger generation rapper to help him out. Warren g is very correct. If he would have came out in the correct manner. And it was fire that would have opened up some new doors for him to the younger generation. Now they see him as a laughing stock. In my personal opinion melle Mel refuse to engage with the New generation and the new style of doing things. All the other old school rappers who was around during his time constantly updated their flow and pen game.

Melle needed constructive criticism around he could of really left a imprint. But instead he came out the bag with some lame shit! Now Imagine Eminem taking The message from Melle Mel. It wouldn’t be fair. But taking other people beats is classic for diss tracks. Trust and believe Eminem had his rap friends review his diss tracks before he puts him out. Melle Mel don’t want any help from any one he’s way to confident or just over confident. He needed Nas in the studio helping with his flow or some one that he knows that’s made dope diss tracks.

People around him can help with advice and then give em a real run of his skills. I everybody deserve a 2nf chance. But this time Mel can't shut people out. I think em would respect something like that don't you think? And the culture will win and be better for it instead of it being a total disaster. Know what im saying?

Not if Mel be sincere about receiving another shot. Cuz look at how many beefs and disses or whatever look how long they have lasted and those were bullshit ones. I'm not saying this is even a beef I'm saying this is suppose to be the "godfather" of hip hop some people say but he is clearly NOT up on the times. I mean personally I would've preferred a Em Vs Rakim ( But Rakim wayyyyyyy toooo cold) You know How long we been waiting not even a diss track but an album from the God on the mic. Plus him and dre didn't vibe well which was sad. Premier though would do Ra justice. Anyways I'm saying Mel has a real high place in hip hop cut em some slack. What messed him up was he was wayyyy cocky and ignored MC's who really do or did look up to him. He still has his fans. And plus don't you kinda wanna see a good battle and not crap? I'm not saying everybody deserve one BUT if people are gonna label him "the godfather" of hip hop I mean that title/or label gotta have some sort of respect on it even if he did shit on people and didn't put respect on it himself is all I'm sayin'.

He’s just not built for this era. He’s stuck in his ways. He doesn’t respect any artist or producer from this generation. He insist he’s better than all of them. He is and will forever be stuck in his ‘hey day’ of the late 70s-80s. I’d argue that using a new school beat would have made it even goofier. His punchlines, references and flow is just so outdated.
