The staging is just ridiculous at Melfest. I’m wondering, if the songs were performed on San Marino’s stage, how many I would love…. Maybe still most of them?? M&M's song is a grower. I didn't love it the first time, but now I'm obsessed. Scarlet was my favorite, but it didn't make it through Andra chansen unfortunately 😢

Every other video I just experience the same thought that we have a really similar taste in all these national final songs. My favorite is definitely Cazzi (I’ve been singing that song all day) and Jaqline is my second. I really wanted Fröken Snusk and Scarlet from the Second Chance round but I guess this new system was made to make the songs from the last heat qualify.

First of all I need to let you know that you are a super charming guy and your videos make me relax and smile! For me this is one of the best Melodis in years! So many songs I will listen for sure even after eurovision. My favorites are Marcus & Martinus and Dotter and my guilty pleasure is Jacquline! I also enjoy Medina and Cazzi😅 such a hard decision! For sure Sweden will have an amazing host song!

Watching all the semis I felt it was a somewhat bleak melfest year, but after watching your video I’ll have to take that back I think haha. Good final! Many great performances :) Will be happy whoever wins, but also obsessing about Cazzi :)

Fröken Snusk, Scarlet, Gunilla Persson and Adam Woods were the favorites, all charting on Spotify and ended up 3rd to 6th in Andra Chansen, Fröken Snusk was even tied with Jay Smith :/ Otherwise my top 4 is 1. Liamoo - 2. Maria Sur - 3. Marcus & Martinus - 4. Medina (Scarlet and Adam Woods were in there too)

I find it interesting that I love one of favourites and feel totally cold with the other. I really like Cazzi Opeia, since it is different and makes me happy. I was hoping a Swedish song to win but Medina is not probably strong enough... M&M and Dotter will be high with fandom but my favourite is Maria Sur.

Cazzi Opeia also was writing the winner of American Song Contest 2022. Please think about the Eurovision in may. Almost every country has a hardrock song. So if you want Smash Into pieces to win in the melodifestivalen it will BE very har for them to win concider it is already so many har rocksongs. Maybe Sweden should send another kind of song. I think Cazzi Opeia would do great in Eurovision. But also Dotter. 😍 Thank you for a great reaction.

Everyone in Sweden are super mad over how it went down yesterday because the two acts that performed in heat 5 were the once that went through only since they had just performed... All Swedes either wanted Fröken snusk, Gunilla or Scarlet to go through😊

I loved Medina's song in 2022 and I really like their song this year aswell, however like you said, I dont think its as instantaneous as their previous attempt. M&M's song is pretty good but I think im more impressed by the staging than the song,even if the song is decent. Sweden can still pick a competent entry as a host country but I dont think anyone is expecting them to be in contention to win, might still do alright with the jury though.

I think Cazzi Opeias song sounds like ”Åh när ni tar saken i egna händer” by Christer Lindarw (Dragqueen) and ”Go West” by Pet Shop Boys. I think both of The melodifestivalen songs are ”inspired” by Per Shop Boys song though😅

Right one time Shane! Just finish to listen to Melodifestivalen as well :D My top 3 are M&M, Jay (I guess it just sounds different from the rest) and Jacqline. My only "complain" is that the songs have so much production/ backing vocals behind, we can barely hear them... It's also quite interesting the contrast between this and FdC that will happen on the same day. Edit: Have fun in Sweden!! :D

Lia Larsson didn't get to Andra Chansen, but the song has free rent in my head, I wake up singing that song. So please check that one out. Also Scarlet not making the final made me very upset.

Really disappointed things went down with the two acts that qualified from the “Andra Chansen” to the final. Definitely showed the advantage of them both performing in Heat 5. I don’t see how M+M are favourites (apart from cool staging). Poor Maria Sur being messed over opening the Final, but Jacqline and Smash Into Pieces are my favourites! ☺️

Annika Wickihalder is my favorite. I liked Scarlet just because they were different. I love Jay but they wouldn't do well with it at ESC. M&M and Danny bore me to tears. Neither do much vocally or with their movements. M&M seem wooden. I know nobody will agree with me but thats ok. 😂

Marcus & Martinus are my realistic winner choice, (I wanted them to win last year with a song I preferred more than this years but that staging is undeniable!) I also enjoy Medina (glad to see there is still space for fun at melodifestivalen), Jacqline, Annika and Jay Smith. I loved Dotters previous entries bulletproof and little tot (I would have loved her to represent Sweden with them) but this years does absolutely nothing for me personally. Artists I enjoyed that didn't make it to the final were Adam Woods, Klaudy, Lia Larsson, Chelsea muco and Kim Cesarion. ❤

Massive step up in comparison to last year for Maria but totally agree on it sadly not leaving enough impact, nice listen however the chorus doesn’t stick enough for me. You’ll 100% forget the song itself after a few more songs but will remember Maria for the performance if anything. Absolutely loved Six Feet Under last year so it was gonna be hard for SIP to follow that up in Melfest (They have outside of it) Which is were i have a problem fully backing Heroes Are Calling, this one defo sounds like they’ve been Melofied to gain more mass appeal🤷‍♂️ This is were we sort of have a problem that even still it’s probably one of my favs in the selection. Nah Shane! You prefer Unforgettable to Air… This just doesn’t even get close imo. The beat that you love just isn’t remarkable enough for me to get behind. The final part of the song is easily the best bit and i wish it was longer. There was a lot of hype and expectation that M&M is coming to save Sweden in this Heat and honestly they haven’t. No way you basically experienced what i said about Maria’s song there😂 Dotter clearly has the best ballad here which i’m a fan of and i like the fact she came with something different this time. The song has a great build up to that big explosion of emotion at the end👏 Spot on in regards to Medina💯 In di dimman was far more instantaneous and felt that it more edge to it. This is still a great party atmosphere but there’s a pattern happening and it’s the song sadly not even being the artist’s best effort at Melfest at least imo. I used to like Liamoo but i much preferred when he was more RnB influenced. This is relying so much on the staging and is absolutely baked with the backing track doing far too much for my liking… Big worry i have about Eurovision by SVT is it being even more evident than normal. Effortless is decent and Jaquline exudes absolute star quality but is this the one she should represent Sweden with Shane? I think we can defo get her a better song in the future that enables her to properly challenge at Eurovision because i feel she’s got more in her locker🔥 Danny is giving us Swedish House Mafia vibes and i’m here for it. Unlike some of the previous songs Happy That You Found Me absolutely sticks! He’s of course a charismatic performer as always but where the hell was the staging budget? I better at least see some dancers on Saturday because it just feels weird seeing such a big name seemingly left with nothing in comparison to the other guys🤷‍♂️ Genuinely couldn’t tell you now who i want to win yet because i don’t feel there is one who is that much clear of the rest, heck i’d even say M&M and SIP would have walked this year with last year’s songs😂

Really want Danny Saucedo to win tbh! I know it’s unlikely to happen but I think Danny finally winning and representing on home soil (when another win isn’t expected/required) would be really fitting!

I find it really funny bc a lot of people are saying how this has been such a bad meltfest season but I genuinely have downloaded like 10+ songs from it which is a win in my books lol 😂 LOOOOOVE Jacquline SO MUCH AND SHES GETTING PAID DUST ! one of my faves was circus X which didn't make it through :(( I was super bummed with how they did the andra chansen this year it was completely skewed to the 2 acts that had just performed, total recency bias imo I think my tops are 1- Jacquline 2- Maria sur 3- smashing into pieces 4- Medina 5- dotter/cazzi I just hope they pick a fun song that swedes can really get behind & have fun with during the final!

It was so hard to pick favourites this year! I think that most of these songs are very good, very presentable. They all have a chance to be in the top 10 at Eurovision, but I don't think any of them is the clear winner 🤔 That being said I am a bit bored of swedish polished pop, so my favorite was Scarlet for their theatrical effect, but since they did not get through I think I'd be happy with any of Cazzi, Medina, Smashing or Jacqueline simply because they are a bit different
