I'm suffering from bicipital tendinitis right now. My doctor told me to try ibuprofen. Taking ibuprofen three times a day cause my gums to become severely inflamed and bleed very easily. We switched to meloxicam and my gums are fine. I've only been taking it for about 2 weeks but my arms feel better already.

I’m 72, male, with osteoarthritis in my fingers. I’m using 5 mg Meloxicam daily and it helps the pain but doesn’t get rid of it. No side effects, and I take it at noon which is my biggest meal of the day to not have stomach issues.

I'm taking meloxicam only 3 three capsules so far for my neck pain because of nevers problem but now 7.5mg is causing itching and rashes I'm 66yrs old

I'm a very active 65-year-old. Never been on any meds just take supplements. Have recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis to my right knee went from exercising daily to barely walking due to pain. Got a steroid injection which helped greatly however pain was still on inside of knee. My Orthopedic Dr. prescribed me Meloxicam 15 Mg, so we shall see. I will return with further comments regarding how it's working.

I'm almost 70 and take 15mg but not everyday, it "seems" to last 3 to 4 days then I may take another one. I have been off it for about 10 days now, I'm doing ok.

I only take when needed at the moment

I only take it if I need it sometimes I can go without it for a whole week or two weeks I mean don't get me wrong I still feel the pain but then I try to use like Tylenol and I try not to play with that too much either

Taking for Costochondritis, gave relief in a day

I have not taken one pill yet but was given them to see if it works for Meserentic panniculitis by my specialist. I'm hopeful but nervous at the same time as I've had a couple of bad reactions to various medications since I had this condition. Meserentic panniculitis is no joke I tell you....

It does nothing for pain. It helps with inflammation a tiny bit. I take 15 MG once a day

Yes i have been taking for back pain...have some bulging discs in my back & DDD im 44. No side effects really. Maybe my blood pressure was up alittle when i got my wellness screening.... Ive been taking this now for 2weeks.....im wondering when i stop taking will my pain just come back? (I have been doing my PT, seems my back is healing but can't tell bc of meds?) ...thankx Ooh 1 side effect recently...my gums are soo sensitive

Curtis, I take 7.5 with 200mg Tramadol ER 2 50mg Tramadol for breakthrough pain- I have been taking this for 4 weeks. Its not working 😔 I'm 59 year old female with RSD, Isthmic Spondylitheses and now being tested for Neuromuscular disorders.😢 Is it possible Tramadol cancels out Meloxicam?
